Corporate Humiliation.
The 732nd edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown came to you from the Thomas & Mack Center at the UNLV in Las Vegas, NV. Also, after he was defeated by Rob Van Dam on RAW, Alberto Del Rio will be defending the World Heavyweight Title against “The Whole Damn Show” at Night of Champions, but what will the champion have to say about his new #1 Contender, not to mention the man who now serves as RVD’s personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez?

Detailed Results
SmackDown kicks off with Miz TV as The Miz welcomes two of the men who were silenced on RAW over the fear of being fired by WWE COO Triple H, “The Show-Off” Dolph Ziggler and “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show. The Miz tells the two men that all three of them joined the majority of the WWE roster in being forced to stand on the stage and watch the decimation of Daniel Bryan at the hands of Randy Orton and The Shield on RAW, not being allowed to help Bryan or face being fired. The Miz then says that this is a “free country” and he thinks it is about time that they let loose with their opinions on how WWE is being managed. Through a bevy of emotions, including fear, regret, disappointment, and anger, Big Show says that not getting involved on RAW was one of the toughest things that he has had to do, quickly giving Dolph Ziggler the floor to speak, but instead of speaking out, Dolph throws it back to Big Show, fearful of his status. The Miz then says that he is “outspoken”, but before Miz can continue, he is interrupted by the boss himself, WWE COO Triple H. Triple H gives The Miz the chance to finish what he had to say, but Miz thinks twice about it, opting to keep quiet. Triple H then asks The Miz why Miz is in his ring gear and Miz comments that you never know when a “fight” is going to break out. The Miz then asks if he can ask the COO a question, but Triple H does not allow The Miz to question him. Triple H then says that what he has been doing is “just business”, but guys like The Miz, Big Show, & Dolph Ziggler want to make it “personal”. Triple H continues, saying that Randy Orton is the “future of the WWE” before taking shots at the three men with him in the ring, saying that Orton is not a guy who “can run his mouth and not back it up”, nor is he “just some guy who just happens to be big” and Orton is “at least big enough”. Triple H then says that Orton being the “face of the WWE” is what is “best for business” and it makes more money for everybody in the company.
The COO continues, saying that The Miz looks at Orton holding the WWE Title and thinks that he used to hold that belt once, but he hasn’t been “anywhere near it since”, saying that he can understand why that would make Miz mad. Triple H then says that since he is a “good guy” who is looking out for everyone’s “best interests”, he is giving The Miz a match with Randy Orton tonight! Triple H then turns his attention to Dolph Ziggler, saying that the last time that Dolph was in the ring with The Shield, he got the crap kicked out of him, so tonight, he is going to give Dolph his shot at revenge when Ziggler goes “one-on-one” with all three members of The Shield in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match! Triple H then calls attention to the man who seems to be the most frustrated, ordering Big Show to come closer, saying that he could nearly see the “smoke” coming out of Big Show’s ears on RAW, saying that it was “frightening”. The COO then says that he is going to do Big Show a “favor” by giving him the night off, saying that Big Show will simply sit next to the announcer’s table during the show and watch what happens in the ring. Triple H then gets in the face of Big Show and says that Big Show will only watch what happens, he will do absolutely nothing about it. With his fists clenched and his face shaking with anger, Big Show has no choice but to bow to the orders of his boss as Big Show exits the ring and reluctantly sits down at ringside. Triple H then tells Dolph Ziggler that he can go to the back and get ready for his 3-on-1 Handicap Match later on in the evening. The COO then informs The Miz that his match is going to take place right now, introducing the hand-picked WWE Champion and self-proclaimed “face of the WWE” Randy Orton, who makes his way to the ring.
With Big Show forced to sit helplessly at ringside per the orders of WWE COO Triple H, the opening match of the night would see the self-proclaimed “face of the WWE” and WWE Champion Randy Orton going one-on-one with The Miz in a non-title match. During the match, The Miz tosses Randy Orton to the outside and this is when Triple H’s personal security force, The Shield, make their way to the ring as United States Champion Dean Ambrose and WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns stand at ringside, keeping an eye on the entrance way as the match continues. The Miz would nearly beat the WWE Champion on several different occasions, even locking in the Figure-Four Leg Lock on Randy Orton, nearly making the champion tap out, but in the end, it was an RKO that would secure the victory for the WWE Champion. After the match, Randy Orton would instruct The Shield to do more damage to The Miz and, with Big Show forbidden from doing anything to help, the #1 Contender for the WWE Title, Daniel Bryan, rushes to the ring with steel chair in hand! Daniel Bryan then drives the chair into the mid-section of Randy Orton before waylaying the back of Seth Rollins while Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns narrowly escape their taste of the steel!
Backstage, a beaming Daniel Bryan confronts a seething Vickie Guerrero as the SmackDown General Manager calls Daniel Bryan a “bully” and, in her world, a bully deserves to get bullied. The GM then brings Ryback, who calls his opponent for later on a “shrimp”.
With a World Heavyweight Title match against champion Alberto Del Rio in his sights in two weeks at Night of Champions, “The Whole Damn Show” was in action on SmackDown as Rob Van Dam, with Ricardo Rodriguez in his corner, went one-on-one with “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Damien Sandow. In the end, it was Rob Van Dam hitting the Five-Star Frog Splash on Damien Sandow en route to picking up the win. After the match, World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio comes out, saying that the only reason that RVD is the #1 Contender is because of Ricardo Rodriguez, who “betrayed” Del Rio, saying that he is going to make it “rain” all over RVD’s parade come Night of Champions and he will prove that he is the only man worthy of being called the World Heavyweight Champion.
In a rematch from last week’s RAW, “The Show-Off” Dolph Ziggler would be forced to again face all three members of The Shield, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns, in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match. In the end, it was Roman Reigns leveling Dolph Ziggler with the Spear en route to picking up the win for The Shield. After the match, The Shield would take to taunting Big Show, holding Dolph Ziggler against the ropes and daring Big Show to get involved. The Shield then puts Ziggler down with their three-man powerbomb in the center of the ring, which nearly causes the giant to erupt with anger.
For the first time since learning that they will face CM Punk in a 2-on-1 Handicap Elimination Match at Night of Champions, Paul Heyman & Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel would speak on the match, as well as their actions on RAW, where, with a kendo stick in hand and CM Punk handcuffed, Paul Heyman would assault and destroy Punk with the kendo stick. Paul Heyman asks the fans what they want from him, asking if they expect him to feel “guilty” for what he did to his “prodigal son” CM Punk on RAW, saying that he is “not sorry” for what he did. Heyman continues, blaming the fans for voting him into a situation where he had to fight Punk, saying that, for 434 consecutive days, he and Punk were the reigning and defending WWE Champion. Heyman says that, every time that Punk has tried to fight him, Punk was left beaten, looking up at the “god” that Heyman is! Heyman continues, saying that, at Night of Champions, he will have to face his beating like a man and the WWE has, more or less, guaranteed that Heyman will get what is coming to him in the 2-on-1 Handicap Elimination Match. Heyman admits that he is “afraid”, but his fear can be CM Punk’s worst enemy, telling everyone to imagine what will happen when he is put in a corner and forced to fight. Heyman then confidently declares that, at Night of Champions, he and Curtis Axel will “own” CM Punk!
The dark, scary, and destructive “brothers” of Bray Wyatt were in action on SmackDown as Luke Harper & Erick Rowan would face Tons of Funk, Tensai & Brodus Clay. In the end, it was Erick Rowan hitting the big splash on Tensai en route to picking up the win. After the match, Harper & Rowan would hold Tensai for Bray Wyatt, allowing the nefarious “eater of worlds” to put Tensai down with the Sister Abigail.
In a match made by SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero, the #1 Contender for the WWE Title at Night of Champions, Daniel Bryan, would face WWE’s resident bully, Ryback. During the match, WWE Champion Randy Orton would make his way to ringside as Daniel Bryan locks in the Yes Lock on Ryback. Before Daniel Bryan can get Ryback to tap out, Randy Orton rushes into the ring and Daniel Bryan relinquishes the hold and locks the WWE Champion into the Yes Lock! However, The Shield would then rush out and aid Orton in attacking Daniel Bryan, but, after having to witness everything that went down the entire night, Big Show finally reached his breaking point as “The World’s Largest Athlete” gets out of his seat and slides into the ring, causing Randy Orton and The Shield to retreat to the opposite corner. Triple H then storms down to the ring, shouting at Big Show to get out of the ring right now. With tears in his eyes and mass amounts of regret, Big Show slowly and reluctantly exits the ring and, with his immense anger and sadness tearing him to shreds on the inside, Big Show does as he is told as Triple H escorts the giant to the staging area before the COO orders Big Show to the back. With Big Show out of sight, Triple H gives the nod to Randy Orton and The Shield to pick up where they left off as The Shield picks Daniel Bryan up, holding the #1 Contender and allowing the WWE Champion to repeatedly blast Bryan in the skull with vicious right hands. Orton then has The Shield use their three-man powerbomb to drive Daniel Bryan down in the center of the ring. Randy Orton then gets a can of spray paint, taunting the fans before spray-painting the word “no” on the torso of Daniel Bryan.

Detailed Results
RAW kicks off with United States Champion Dean Ambrose and WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns as The Shield stands at ringside, staying at the bottom of the ramp in order to protect the COO of the WWE, Triple H, who makes his way to the ring. After recapping what happened at SummerSlam, Triple H says that what he did to Daniel Bryan was just “business” and there was nothing “personal” about it. Triple H then shows what happened on last week’s RAW, where Triple H invites Daniel Bryan to the ring, only to instruct The Shield to assault Bryan before appearing to let Bryan enter the ring, where Randy Orton immediately puts Bryan down with the RKO. Triple H explains that what happened last week was “personal”, saying that Daniel Bryan is the one who made it personal, saying that Bryan insulted Triple H’s wife, as well as Triple H himself. The COO continues, saying that he is still willing to be a “business man” with Daniel Bryan, but that is up to Daniel Bryan. Triple H then turns his attention to business, touting the ratings for last week’s RAW, saying that “business is booming”. Triple H then claims that the boom is due to the new “face of the WWE” before the COO brings out his hand-picked WWE Champion, Randy Orton, who makes his way to the ring. Triple H then congratulates Randy Orton on “breathing new life” into the WWE and into the WWE Championship, saying that he likes to award people who “excel” and that is why he got Orton a “gift”. The COO continues, saying that he paid for the gift out of his own pocket, bringing out a brand new Cadillac Escalade! The WWE Champion lights up at the sight of his gift, thanking Triple H and saying that the COO realizes that Orton is the only man worthy of being the face of the WWE and the WWE Champion.
Triple H then encourages Randy Orton to go and check out his new ride, but Daniel Bryan interrupts, coming out to the stage and setting his sights on the Cadillac Escalade. Bryan says that the gift is “well-deserved” before he thanks the WWE fans for supporting him, saying that they have no idea how much it means to him. Bryan then again thanks John Cena for allowing him to wrestle for the WWE Title at SummerSlam because Triple H would never have allowed him to be in the main event any other way. Bryan continues, thanking Triple H for ending the “charade” and finally showing his true colors and showing that Triple H’s view of what’s good for business is just as “narrow-minded and misguided” as Vince McMahon’s! Bryan then says that the guy who used to rebel against authority is now a “sellout”. An angry Randy Orton then cuts Daniel Bryan off, saying that Bryan needs to show the COO of the WWE some respect and he needs to show the face of the WWE some respect. Daniel Bryan then declares that he is going to “re-arrange” the face of the WWE, as well as Triple H’s views, because he will be the WWE Champion come Night of Champions! Triple H responds by calling Daniel Bryan “Jiminy Cricket”, saying that, in the “real world”, Daniel Bryan is a “B at best” and Randy Orton is an “A player”. Triple H then says that he is all about “opportunity”, informing Daniel Bryan that he is going to give Bryan the “gift of justice” when Daniel Bryan faces all three members of The Shield, one after the other, in a Gauntlet Match! Triple H then says that he is doing it for Daniel Bryan, saying that he “believes” in Daniel Bryan and he believes that this is what is “best for business”!
With “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Damien Sandow a guest on commentary, the opening match of the night would see Cody Rhodes going one-on-one with Fandango, with Summer Rae in his corner. Early on in the match, Fandango’s music would hit and The Miz, dressed like Fandango, comes dancing out with Rosa Mendes! This distraction allows Cody Rhodes to roll Fandango up for the win. After the match, an all-out brawl breaks out as Damien Sandow rushes the ring as he and Fandango beat down Cody Rhodes before The Miz makes the save. RAW General Manager Brad Maddox then comes out, calling an end to the fight and announcing that Cody Rhodes will team with The Miz to face Fandango and Damien Sandow in a tag team match right now.
After a brawl broke out between the four men, an impromptu tag team match would see the team of Cody Rhodes & The Miz, with Rosa Mendes in their corner, face the team of “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Damien Sandow & Fandango, with Summer Rae in their corner. During the match, Fandango opts to back out of the match, leaving Damien Sandow to fight for himself. In the end, it was The Miz planting Damien Sandow with the Skull Crushing Finale en route to picking up the win for himself and Cody Rhodes.
In a match requested by Curtis Axel himself, it was then time for “The Best in the World” CM Punk to go one-on-one with Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel, with Paul Heyman keeping a safe distance by staying on the stage, in a non-title match and, as voted on by the WWE fans, if CM Punk wins, Paul Heyman will be forced to get into the ring with Punk! In the end, it was CM Punk putting Curtis Axel down with the GTS, pinning the Intercontinental Champion for the win, meaning that Paul Heyman must get into the ring with CM Punk!
Not surprisingly, Paul Heyman would try to run to the back, but a couple of referees would stop Heyman. When Punk gets impatient and starts to head towards the stage, Heyman again tries to flee, but security brings Heyman back, giving Heyman to Punk! Punk rolls Heyman into the ring and gets Heyman in the corner of the ring, but before Punk could do any damage, Curtis Axel catches Punk from behind with a low blow. After getting to his feet, Paul Heyman gives Curtis Axel a pair of handcuffs and Axel handcuffs Punk’s hands behind his back, holding Punk while Heyman taunts and even slaps Punk. However, Punk would use his lethal kicks to take down Curtis Axel before knocking Heyman off of his feet, but Axel would again protect his manager, driving a steel chair into the back of Punk. The Intercontinental Champion then grabs a kendo stick and, instead of wailing away on Punk himself, Axel hands the weapon to Paul Heyman, who smacks Punk on the back with the stick. Heyman then has Axel hold Punk in the ropes while Heyman uses the kendo stick to ravage the unprotected mid-section of Punk. Axel then takes Punk to the outside of the ring and decks Punk with a right hand. The insane Paul Heyman then comes to the outside with the broken kendo stick in hand, using the splintered weapon to crush the already broken Punk, shouting at Punk that Punk broke his heart. WWE’s ringside physician and a referee then tend to Punk as Axel and Heyman leave the ringside area.
With Jo-Jo serving as the Guest Ring Announcer, Natalya, with The Funkadactyls in her corner, would face Brie Bella, with Nikki Bella & Eva Marie in her corner. In the end, it was Brie Bella hitting the Bella Buster on Natalya en route to picking up the win. After the match, Divas Champion AJ Lee comes out, saying that Total Divas was crazy last night, feigning enthusiasm about the show. AJ Lee then says that, when she looks at the ring, all she sees is a “bunch of cheap, interchangeable, expendable, useless women”, saying that they had to turn to reality television because they are not “gifted enough to be actresses” and are just not “talented enough to be champions”. AJ continues, saying that she has done more in “one year” than all of them have done collectively in their entire careers! The Divas Champion then says that she has saved the Divas division and she has “shattered glass ceilings”, saying that they cannot look her in the eye because they know that she worked her entire life to get to the WWE and they were just handed “fifteen minutes of fame”. AJ says that she did not get to the WWE because she was “cute” or because she came from a famous family or because she “sucked up to the right people”, she is in the WWE because she is “good” and she earned the Divas Title and they will never be able to lace up her Chuck Taylors! AJ continues, saying that they are all “worthless” and they will never be able to touch her and that is “reality”.
In a non-title match, World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio would go one-on-one with “Mr. Monday Night” Rob Van Dam, with Ricardo Rodriguez in his corner. During the match, Rob Van Dam would find himself in trouble, so Ricardo Rodriguez would get on top of the announce table, starting an “RVD” chant, distracting Alberto Del Rio long enough for RVD to catch Del Rio with a roll-up, pinning the World Heavyweight Champion to earn a shot at the gold at Night of Champions!
In the renewal of an old rivalry, “Captain Charisma” Christian would go one-on-one with the self-proclaimed “face of the WWE”, the new WWE Champion Randy Orton, in a non-title match. During the match, Randy Orton would sneak in a thumb to the eye of Christian behind the back of the referee, allowing the WWE Champion to put “Captain Charisma” down with the RKO en route to picking up the win. After the match, Daniel Bryan would appear on the Tron as Bryan is in front of Orton’s gift from Triple H, the brand new Cadillac Escalade. Bryan calls the vehicle a “pretty car for a pretty man” before Bryan shows his ‘custom paintjob’ of Orton’s Escalade as the #1 Contender took to spray-painting “yes” all over the expensive gift, which enrages the WWE Champion!
Backstage, WWE Champion Randy Orton is with WWE COO Triple H and RAW General Manager Brad Maddox as all three men set their sights on Orton’s damaged Escalade. Triple H tells Brad Maddox that the Escalade was his personal property and he gave it to Randy Orton and he considers the WWE Title his personal property, saying that he allows Orton to hold it. The COO then tells the GM to go and round up the entire locker room and march them out to the stage for the main event, telling Maddox that, if any of the Superstars even think of interfering in the main event, he will personally enjoy firing them!
In the ongoing rivalry between The Prime Time Players and The Real Americans, Titus O’Neil, with Darren Young in his corner, would go one-on-one with Jack Swagger, with Zeb Colter & Antonio Cesaro in his corner. In the end, it was Titus O’Neil hitting a modified chokebomb on Jack Swagger en route to picking up the win.
Backstage, CM Punk barges into the office of RAW General Manager Brad Maddox, demanding a match with Paul Heyman. Maddox gives Punk what he wants, and then some, as the GM makes a match for Night of Champions that will see CM Punk facing both Curtis Axel and Paul Heyman in a 2-on-1 Handicap Elimination Match! Maddox then says that, if Heyman backs out of the match, then Punk will never see Heyman again. Punk agrees, but adds that, if Heyman backs out of the match, no one will ever see Brad Maddox again either!
With every available Superstar standing on the stage, interviewer Renee Young would ask Big Show and Dolph Ziggler for their opinions regarding the main event, but both men would refuse to comment, fearing for their jobs. Renee would then move on to ask The Miz the same question and, while The Miz began to comment, he decided not to finish what he had to say, also fearing for his job.
With Rob Van Dam, Ricardo Rodriguez, Big Show, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, The Great Khali, AJ Lee, Cody Rhodes, Tons of Funk, The Miz, Big E. Langston, Ryback, 3MB, The Prime Time Players, The Real Americans, Damien Sandow, R-Truth, and Alberto Del Rio, among others, standing on the stage as ordered, it was time for the main event as the #1 Contender for the WWE Title at Night of Champions, Daniel Bryan, would be forced to face each member of The Shield, one after another, in a Gauntlet Match. The first leg of the Gauntlet Match would see Daniel Bryan face one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Seth Rollins, with his Shield cohorts in his corner. In an incredible match between the two former ROH stars, it was Daniel Bryan hitting the running knee on Seth Rollins en route to surviving the first leg of the Gauntlet Match.
The second part of the Gauntlet Match was set to be Daniel Bryan facing United States Champion Dean Ambrose and the match would get underway and Daniel Bryan would immediately lock in the Yes Lock on Ambrose, but Roman Reigns would interfere, resulting in the disqualification victory for Bryan. The #1 Contender would then lock his third opponent, Roman Reigns, in the Yes Lock, but Dean Ambrose would break the hold as the entire match breaks down into chaos. The three members of The Shield would then beat down the #1 Contender before Roman Reigns blasts Daniel Bryan with the Spear. With Daniel Bryan down in the ring, WWE COO Triple H walks out to the staging area, cautiously standing in front of the WWE roster, nodding to The Shield, instructing the trio to put Daniel Bryan down with their three-man powerbomb. The Shield complies while the COO gazes at Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, and the rest of the roster, almost daring them to step up and stop the proceedings. WWE Champion Randy Orton then comes out and Triple H pats the “face of the WWE” on the back, letting Orton head to the ring. Then, as The Shield holds Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton drops Daniel Bryan with the RKO while the WWE roster, namely Big Show, struggles to keep themselves from stepping in. Orton then heads back up the ramp as Triple H ‘parts the seas’ to allow himself and his champion to leave.

Dawn of a Dark Era.
One night after the most controversial night in SummerSlam history, the 1056th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. “The Biggest Event of the Summer” left a lot of burning questions, but none more than those surrounding the main event of the show, where Daniel Bryan achieved his dream by upsetting John Cena to become the new WWE Champion only for WWE COO and Special Referee for the match Triple H to shock the world by dropping Daniel Bryan with the Pedigree, allowing Randy Orton to cash in his Money-in-the-Bank contract and crush Daniel Bryan’s moment by taking the WWE Title from the new champion in what was apparently a well-executed plan by the former Evolution teammates. What will Triple H have to say for himself? Why did the COO screw Daniel Bryan in favor of crowning a new champion in Randy Orton?

Detailed Results
One night after losing the WWE Championship to Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam, the eleven-time former WWE Champion John Cena kicks off RAW. The former champion says that he is “absolutely disgusted” with what happened at SummerSlam, saying that, when he was the WWE Champion, he said that whoever took the title from him would have “earned it” and Daniel Bryan did just that at SummerSlam. Cena continues, thanking Bryan for bringing out the best in him, saying that being a WWE Superstar has nothing to do with race, creed, or appearance, it is all about your “commitment to excellence” inside the ring. Cena then addresses the baseball-sized lump on his left elbow, revealing that the WWE doctors informed him prior to SummerSlam that the lump of fluid is a result of torn triceps muscle and Cena should go home immediately and not defend the WWE Title at SummerSlam, but he refused. Cena continues, saying that he is not using his injury as an excuse for losing, saying that he got what he wanted from Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam and that was a “clean match”. Cena then says that, when he was in the locker room following the match, somebody rushed in and told him about Triple H blatantly screwing Daniel Bryan out of the WWE Title in favor of Randy Orton holding the gold. Cena says that he was “offended and disgraced” by what happened at SummerSlam before saying that he cannot put off his surgery any longer and, tonight, he is leaving the WWE! As the crowd erupts with chants of “yes”, Cena says that he will be gone for the next four to six months as he tries to get healthy. Cena says that, before he leaves, he wants to introduce a man who has earned the right to be called a “champion”, bringing the man who was screwed out of the WWE Championship by Triple H and Randy Orton at SummerSlam to the ring, Daniel Bryan.
John Cena then hands the microphone over to Daniel Bryan before leaving the ring, but before Daniel Bryan can speak, he is interrupted by the Executive Vice President of Creative and the wife of Triple H, Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie makes her way to the ring, telling Daniel Bryan that she is “sorry” and Bryan earned the WWE Title last night and he did not deserve to have his dream snatched away from him. Stephanie continues, saying that Triple H was just doing what was “best for business”, but Daniel Bryan argues that the fans disagree, saying that he expects that from Mr. McMahon and he expects it from Stephanie, but he did not expect it from Triple H. Bryan continues, saying that Triple H was a “rebel” and he was the leader of D-Generation X, but now, Triple H is wearing a suit, sporting a “corporate haircut”. Bryan then gestures towards Stephanie, saying that “when you lie down with trash, you start to stink”, but Stephanie says that she is going to “let it slide” because she knows that Bryan upset. Bryan says that he is not afraid of being fired, saying that, whether it will be against her “snake husband” or Randy Orton, he will definitely give her a reason to fire him! Stephanie claims that Daniel Bryan’s “anger management issues” are getting the better of him, saying that Daniel Bryan is the “ultimate underdog” and he is part of the “very fabric of the WWE”. Stephanie continues, saying that not everyone can be the “face of the WWE” and the fans clearly love Daniel Bryan, saying that Bryan may not be an “A”, but he is a “solid B+”! Daniel Bryan says that he understands that Stephanie is just out there to try and rationalize her husband’s behavior, but that does not mean that he has to accept that, nor does he have to accept being relegated to the middle of the card, shouting at Stephanie that he can be the WWE Champion and he does not care what she thinks!
When Stephanie tries to speak again, Daniel Bryan slaps the microphone out of her hand and kicking it out of the ring. Grabbing another microphone, Stephanie tells Daniel Bryan that he is being “unprofessional” and she won’t stand for it. Stephanie then calls for security, instructing security to escort Bryan out of the building! Bryan then reluctantly leaves the ring with the security team following him out of the building.
The opening match of RAW would be a rematch from SummerSlam as Cody Rhodes would go one-on-one with the World Heavyweight Championship Contract “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Damien Sandow. In the end, it was Cody Rhodes catching Damien Sandow with a roll-up to defeat “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” for the second night in a row!
Backstage, RAW General Manager Brad Maddox addresses the fans and the comments made by several Superstars, but points out some poignant comments made by Dolph Ziggler. In reference to Triple H’s actions at SummerSlam, Ziggler stated, “I wondered what his intentions were. To be honest, I have never really trusted him since I started working here.” The GM says that Dolph Ziggler is “The Show-Off”, saying that Ziggler will get the opportunity to “show off” when he faces The Shield in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match!
With his arm in a sling, courtesy of CM Punk, Paul Heyman appears on RAW, saying that, at SummerSlam, CM Punk was defeated by Brock Lesnar. Heyman then says that Punk gave Brock Lesnar all that Brock could handle last night, saying that it is time to end this “family feud”. Heyman continues, saying that it is no longer a time for “retribution”, it is a time for “forgiveness”, saying that he forgives CM Punk and, when Punk apologizes to him, then he will take Punk back! Heyman then says that, with him, they will achieve heights that they have never reached before, saying that he still “loves” Punk and he will guide Punk back to the WWE Championship and to the main event of WrestleMania. Heyman then declares that, together, they will be the “best in the world”.
The Divas were in action on RAW as Divas Champion AJ Lee would team with Layla to face The Funkadactyls, Cameron & Naomi, in tag team action. In the end, it was Naomi catching Layla with a roll-up to pick up the win for The Funkadactyls.
As punishment for his comments about the deceptive WWE COO Triple H, “The Show-Off” Dolph Ziggler would be forced into a 3-on-1 Handicap Match against all three members of The Shield, United States Champion Dean Ambrose and WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns. Dolph Ziggler would manage to take it to The Shield, but the three-on-one advantage would ultimately reign supreme as, after dispatching Seth Rollins with a suplex to the outside of the ring, Ziggler would turn around into a huge Spear from Roman Reigns, who pins Ziggler to pick up the win for The Shield. After the match, The Shield would take it upon themselves to drop Ziggler in the middle of the ring with their three-man powerbomb.
After a successful title defense against Christian at SummerSlam, the World Heavyweight Champion was in action on RAW as Alberto Del Rio went one-on-one with Sin Cara in a non-title match. Early on in the match, Sin Cara would knock Alberto Del Rio to the outside of the ring and the high-flyer would do what he does best as Sin Cara dives to the outside, taking the champion down. However, the move would cost Sin Cara as, upon landing on the floor, Sin Cara would immediately call for the referee, apparently injuring his wrist during the dive to the outside. The ringside physician would quickly tend to Sin Cara, but Del Rio would insist on punishing Sin Cara, rolling Sin Cara back into the ring. The referee would then determine that Sin Cara was unable to continue, ringing the bell and awarding the match to Alberto Del Rio. Despite the match being over, the World Heavyweight Champion would show no mercy, kicking the injured Sin Cara before the referee does his best to keep Alberto Del Rio at bay.
As the referee and the ringside doctor help Sin Cara to the back, Alberto Del Rio says that, at SummerSlam, he proved that he is the best World Heavyweight Champion in history and he proved to the Latino community that they finally have “someone to cheer for”. Del Rio continues, saying the Mexican community has “no heroes”, but he will do his best to represent his home country, setting a good example for all the “peasants”. This brings out Del Rio’s former ring announcer whom he assaulted a few weeks ago, Ricardo Rodriguez, who says that Del Rio is no hero and he is glad that he no longer has to represent Alberto Del Rio and that he no longer has to stand by Del Rio’s side. Rodriguez then reveals that he is happy to reveal that he is representing somebody new and that man is none other than “Mr. Monday Night” himself, Rob Van Dam! RVD then comes out, looking for a piece of the World Heavyweight Champion and he gets just that, putting Del Rio down with a straight kick to the face, but when RVD goes to the top for the Five-Star Frog Splash, Del Rio rolls out of the ring, narrowly escaping “The Whole Damn Show” for the time being.
In tag team action, The Prime Time Players, Darren Young & Titus O’Neil, would face The Real Americans, Jack Swagger & Antonio Cesaro, with Zeb Colter in their corner. In the end, it was Darren Young hitting the Gut Check on Antonio Cesaro en route to picking up the win for The Prime Time Players.
Backstage, Renee Young is interviewing Big Show about the possibility of Big Show and Mark Henry teaming up to try and take the WWE Tag Team Titles from The Shield’s Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns, but RAW General Manager Brad Maddox interrupts. The GM shoos Renee Young away before telling Big Show that Show had some very poignant things to say about WWE COO Triple H. Big Show owns up to the remarks, saying that the last time he checked, they were in America where Freedom of Speech reigns. The GM then says that he will allow Big Show to express himself when Big Show faces all three members of The Shield in a 3-on-1 Tornado Handicap Match! Big Show welcomes the challenge, asking the GM if he is sure that he wants to do that to The Shield.
As punishment for speaking his mind about WWE COO Triple H, “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show would be forced to face all three members of The Shield, United States Champion Dean Ambrose and WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns in a 3-on-1 Tornado Handicap Match, where Ambrose, Rollins, & Reigns would be allowed to be in the ring at the same time. During the match, Big Show would systematically take out Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, briefly leaving Dean Ambrose alone with “The World’s Largest Athlete”, but Seth Rollins would soon come to the rescue, taking Big Show down with a knee to the face off of the top rope. However, when Ambrose & Rollins go for a double suplex, Big Show reverses, delivering a suplex to both men. Before Big Show can capitalize, Roman Reigns comes back into the ring, dropping Big Show with the Spear. The Shield then hoist “The World’s Largest Athlete” up high, driving Big Show down with the three-man powerbomb before all three members of The Shield hop on top of Big Show, pinning Big Show for their second victory of the night.
One night after taking Brock Lesnar to the limit only to ultimately be cost the match by Paul Heyman at SummerSlam, “The Best in the World” CM Punk would appear on RAW to address his grueling match at SummerSlam, as well as Heyman’s request for an apology from earlier in the night. Punk says that Heyman had a lot of personal things to say to him earlier in the night, telling Heyman to come out there and Heyman may just get what he wants. Heyman does come out, but with Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel by his side. Punk says that he is “sorry”, sorry that he did not rip Heyman’s arm all the way off and take it home with him and he is sorry that Heyman thinks that a beating will stop him! Punk continues, saying that he will get his revenge on Heyman, daring Heyman to come into the ring so they can finish it right now! Heyman says that he is the one who owes an apology to CM Punk, saying that he is sorry for what is about to happen to Punk. Heyman then tells Curtis Axel to go in the back and tape his hands for a fight before telling Punk that, if Punk is still in that ring when Axel comes back, Axel will finish the job that Brock Lesnar started at SummerSlam!
CM Punk would welcome the fight, sitting in the ring, waiting for Curtis Axel and, as soon as the Intercontinental Champion gets in the ring, Punk strikes, hitting Axel with a steel chair before the fight spills to the outside. Curtis Axel tees off on the hurting Punk, targeting the mid-section of CM Punk that was targeted by Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, but Punk would dump Axel on his head over the ringside barricade. Punk then retrieves the ring bell, using the heavy implement to smash the mid-section of the Intercontinental Champion before Punk rolls Axel into the ring, looking at Heyman as he hoists Axel up for the GTS. However, Axel would wiggle out of the precarious situation, taking Punk out at his injured left leg. Axel then grabs the steel chair, using the steel to decimate the left leg of Punk before putting Punk down with the Axel Cutter. The Intercontinental Champion was not through there, however, as Curtis Axel wraps the steel chair around the leg of Punk. Before Axel could deal the death’s blow to Punk’s career, Punk narrowly manages to roll out of the way of Axel’s attack and, on one leg, Punk uses the steel chair to fight back against the Intercontinental Champion, taking Axel to the outside where he repeatedly slams Axel’s face into the steel steps before picking Axel up and hitting a modified GTS on Axel, planting Axel face-first on top of the steel steps! Punk then stares daggers at Paul Heyman, who slowly backs away.
After their annihilation of Kane at SummerSlam that allowed Bray Wyatt to defeat “The Big Red Monster” in the first ever Ring of Fire Match and allowed The Wyatt Family to carry Kane out of the arena, the leader of The Wyatt Family would make his in-ring RAW debut as Bray Wyatt, with Luke Harper & Erick Rowan in his corner, would go one-on-one with R-Truth. In the end, it was a dominant victory for Bray Wyatt as Wyatt puts R-Truth down with the Sister Abigail en route to picking up the win.
In tag team action, Jimmy & Jey Uso would face two-thirds of 3MB, Heath Slater & Jinder Mahal, with Drew McIntyre in their corner. In the end, it was Jimmy Uso landing the Superfly Splash on Jinder Mahal en route to picking up the win for himself and Jey Uso.
In the renewal of an old rivalry, “The Awesome One” The Miz would go one-on-one with Wade Barrett on RAW. The Miz would lock in the Figure-Four Leg Lock on Wade Barrett, but before Barrett could tap out, Fandango would emerge, coming off of the top rope with a leg drop to The Miz. Fandango & Summer Rae then dance over the prone body of The Miz.
After Triple H shocked the world by directly costing Daniel Bryan the WWE Championship in favor of crowning Randy Orton the new champion via Orton cashing in his Money-in-the-Bank contract at SummerSlam, RAW would host the WWE Championship Coronation of Randy Orton! With WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon and WWE Executive Vice President of Creative Stephanie McMahon in the ring, a massive gathering of WWE Superstars and Divas line the staging area, including RAW General Manager Brad Maddox, SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero, Christian, Mark Henry, Fandango, Big E. Langston, The Prime Time Players, The Real Americans, Ryback, Natalya, The Bella Twins, Eva Marie, Kofi Kingston, The Great Khali, Cody Rhodes, Booker T, and Theodore Long, among others, stand on the stage as WWE COO Triple H makes his entrance, joining his wife and father-in-law in the ring, but not before passing The Shield, who are standing guard at the bottom of the ramp! Mr. McMahon says that tonight is a wonderful night and a momentous occasion, saying that they have a WWE Champion that they can all be proud of. The Chairman says that he is most proud of his son-in-law, who “saw the light”. Father-in-law and son-in-law then embrace before Triple H addresses everyone, saying that the fans are “short-sighted” and they can never see the “bigger picture”, saying that he did what he did at SummerSlam to “ensure the future” of the WWE. Triple H continues, saying that he did it for each and every one of the fans, as well as their children and grandchildren and the Superstars and Divas standing on the stage. Triple H says that he also did it for Vince McMahon and the McMahons to come before him to ensure that the WWE will be around to exist in all of their futures. Triple H continues, saying that he considers Daniel Bryan a “friend”, saying that Bryan is a very good “little technician” and he “deserved to win” at SummerSlam, but Daniel Bryan is not WWE Championship material and he is certainly not the “face of the WWE”, saying that the fans “deserve better” than Daniel Bryan.
Triple H says that the fans deserve “A+” and that is what he gave them at SummerSlam, saying that Daniel Bryan’s “personal problems” are a small price to pay. Triple H continues, saying that it “hurt” him personally to have to screw Daniel Bryan over like that, to crush Bryan’s dreams. Triple H then addresses the new champion, saying that he “buried” his personal feelings and his hatred for Randy Orton to do what was right for each and every one of them. The COO then says that, for Daniel Bryan to say that he has a personal problem with what he did, is “selfish” of Bryan. Triple H says that he checks his ego every time he goes to work, saying that it is not about him and it is not about what he does, it’s about the WWE fans. Triple H then says that he is going to put his personal feelings aside again tonight, introducing the man that once punted Vince McMahon in the skull and dropped Stephanie McMahon with an RKO while Triple H was forced to watch, the brand new WWE Champion, “The Viper” Randy Orton! The new WWE Champion then makes his way to the ring, shaking hands with Mr. McMahon and Triple H and even hugging Stephanie! Orton says that he told all of them that, when he cashed in, none of them would see it coming and there he stands a ten-time World Champion. The new champion says that he owes all of this to Triple H, demanding that the fans stand on his feet and show Triple H the “respect” that he deserves. The WWE Champion then hands the microphone back to Triple H, who says that he is aware that Daniel Bryan is somewhere in the building, saying that he is opening the door for Daniel Bryan to come out there and do whatever it is that he needs to do, suggesting that Daniel Bryan have a “good cry”, saying Bryan can do whatever he needs to do to get on with his “little career”.
To try and coax Daniel Bryan out to the ring, Triple H has The Shield step aside and tells the Superstars to keep their hands off of Daniel Bryan or face the consequences. Triple H even starts a “yes” chant and has Daniel Bryan’s music played for him. Reluctantly, Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring, but when Bryan climbs on the apron, The Shield attacks, but Daniel Bryan takes down Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns before targeting Dean Ambrose. Bryan then manages to take down Ambrose & Rollins on the ramp, but when Bryan gets close to the ring again, Reigns comes out of left field, blasting Bryan with the Spear before Ambrose & Rollins jump back into the fight. The Shield then sets up for the three-man powerbomb on the arena floor, but Triple H calls a stop to the beat down, taunting Daniel Bryan to climb into the ring. Hurting from the beat down, Daniel Bryan struggles to pull himself up to the ring apron, putting his sights solely on getting a piece of Triple H, but as soon as Bryan is within reach of the tyrannical COO, Randy Orton strikes, dropping Daniel Bryan with the RKO. The new WWE Champion then stands with the McMahon Family, all with their hands raised in unity as they stand over the broken body of Daniel Bryan.

John Cena injury update

On Monday’s Raw, John Cena revealed he is suffering from a torn triceps.
"I cannot put off my surgery any longer. Tonight I leave the WWE," Cena said while praising Daniel Bryan for beating him fairly and squarely at SummerSlam.
"John has been dealing with a large left elbow bursitis,” said WWE's Dr. Michael Sampson. "We did an MRI which showed a partial triceps tear. Being the warrior that he is, he did not want to have surgery [forcing him to cancel his SummerSlam match].”
"After SummerSlam, John agreed with us to have surgery this week with WWE's Dr. James Andrews. He will begin physical therapy after that.”
Cena is expected to be out of action for four to six months.

WWE SummerSlam 2013 Results

The 26th annual WWE SummerSlam came to you, live on pay-per-view, from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. “The Biggest Event of the Summer” would feature one of the biggest and most personal wars in the event’s twenty-six year history as “The Best” will collide with “The Beast” as “The Best in the World” CM Punk would try and slay his former best friend’s hired monster “The Beast” Brock Lesnar, with the evil mastermind behind the collision, Paul Heyman, in his corner in a match with no disqualifications. For weeks, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon has made no bones about the fact that he does not want either John Cena or Daniel Bryan to be the WWE Champion, but the diabolical boss has targeted Daniel Bryan, using RAW General Manager Brad Maddox as a glorified puppet to try and screw over the #1 Contender, but the Chairman’s son-in-law Triple H refuses to let his father-in-law wreck the main event of SummerSlam for his own, personal gain as the COO will step in as the Special Referee for the WWE Championship match between John Cena and Daniel Bryan. Throughout his legendary career in the WWE, there has been one sinister ally that has been in the back pocket of “The Big Red Monster” Kane and that is the element of fire and, at SummerSlam, Kane would use fire to hash out his revenge on the head of The Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt, as “The Devil’s Favorite Demon” squares off with the self-proclaimed “Eater of Worlds” and the ring will literally be surrounded by fire as the first ever Ring of Fire Match will see the two demonic entities compete inside the flames to keep the two Superstars in the ring and any interference, particularly from Bray Wyatt’s “brothers”, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan, out of the match. The World Heavyweight Championship would also be up for grabs at SummerSlam as “The Mexican Aristocrat” Alberto Del Rio defends his World Heavyweight Title against a man who has been on a roll as of late, even pinning the champion on RAW, “Captain Charisma” Christian. In a Mixed Tag Match, “The Show-Off” Dolph Ziggler would enlist the assistance of Kaitlyn to battle Dolph’s psycho ex-girlfriend, Divas Champion AJ Lee, and Dolph’s former bodyguard, Big E. Langston. At Money-in-the-Bank, the self-proclaimed “Intellectual Savior of the Masses” Damien Sandow ducked out of the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match for the World Heavyweight Championship Contract Money-in-the-Bank briefcase, waiting until his supposed “best friend” Cody Rhodes had his fingertips on the briefcase to jump back into the match, costing Rhodes the match and taking the Money-in-the-Bank briefcase for himself, but at SummerSlam, the second-generation star would be looking to exact his revenge as Cody Rhodes would go one-on-one with the World Heavyweight Championship Contract “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Damien Sandow. SummerSlam would also see two of the stars of the instant E! Network hit reality show, Total Divas, face off as Natalya would go one-on-one with Brie Bella.

Detailed Results
After the Official Host of SummerSlam, The Miz, welcomes everyone to the show, SummerSlam would get off to a ‘fiery’ start as the opening match of the night would see “The Big Red Monster” Kane would go one-on-one with the head of The Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt, with his “brothers” Luke Harper & Erick Rowan in his corner, in a Ring of Fire Match, where fire will surround the ring, preventing either man from escaping and preventing any outside interference with firefighters standing by. During the match, Bray Wyatt would find himself in trouble and would instruct Luke Harper & Erick Rowan to fetch him a weapon, so Harper procures a kendo stick, but when Harper tries to hand the stick to his leader, the flames light the stick on fire and Harper immediately tosses the stick down as firefighters extinguish the weapon. This gives Erick Rowan the idea to grab a fire extinguisher, attempting to put the flames out, but the attempt fails. Meanwhile, inside the Ring of Fire, Kane drops Bray Wyatt with a chokeslam, but Harper & Rowan finally succeed in their plan to interfere as they put out a portion of the flames with a fire blanket before quickly entering the ring and attacking Kane! Kane would do his best to combat the two big men, but Harper & Rowan would overwhelm “The Big Red Monster” as they beat Kane down before Rowan hits the big splash on Kane. Harper & Rowan then help Bray Wyatt up and Wyatt hits the Sister Abigail on Kane in the center of the ring, pinning Kane to pick up the win in his debut match. After the match, The Wyatt Family set forth to destroy Kane as they drag “The Big Red Monster” out of the ring, placing the helpless Kane face-first on the steel steps. Bray Wyatt then tells Kane that Kane has made his bed and now he has to “lie in it” and, with that, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan smash the skull of Kane between the two halves of the steel steps! Bray Wyatt then lights his torch as Harper & Rowan lift Kane up and carry him away from ringside with Bray Wyatt at the helm!
Two former best friends and former tag team partners would square off at SummerSlam as the World Heavyweight Championship Contract “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Damien Sandow would go one-on-one with the man he screwed over to get the title contract at Money-in-the-Bank, Cody Rhodes. In the end, it was Cody Rhodes planting Damien Sandow with Cross Rhodes en route to picking up the win over “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank”.
The World Heavyweight Championship would then be up for grabs at SummerSlam as “The Mexican Aristocrat” Alberto Del Rio defends the World Heavyweight Title against “Captain Charisma” Christian. Early on in the match, Alberto Del Rio would work on the left arm of Christian and, at the end of a stellar title match, Christian would hit the Spear on Del Rio, but the injured shoulder would keep Christian from capitalizing and it would allow Del Rio to lock in the cross armbreaker on Christian, forcing “Captain Charisma” to tap out to pick up the win and successfully retain the World Heavyweight Title. After the match, Alberto Del Rio comments on his hard-fought victory, proclaiming that he is still the World Heavyweight Champion and touting himself as the fans’ “one representative” of the Latino population, saying that the Mexican people need someone to look up to and they need a “hero” and an “idol”. Del Rio continues, saying that they need not look any further than the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio when they look for a Mexican hero.
Flanked by The Funkadactyls, Cameron & Naomi, Natalya would go one-on-one with Brie Bella, with her twin sister Nikki Bella and Eva Marie in her corner. In the end, it was Natalya locking in the Sharpshooter on Brie Bella, making Brie tap out to pick up the win.
Then it was time for the epic showdown between “The Best” and “The Beast” as “The Best in the World” CM Punk would go to war with “The Beast” Brock Lesnar, with the man in the middle of the chaos, Paul Heyman, in Lesnar’s corner, in a match with no disqualifications. During the match, the fight would spill to the outside where CM Punk would leap off of the announce table, taking Brock Lesnar down with a clothesline. However, Punk would then set his sights on Paul Heyman and Punk would stalk Heyman around ringside, but this would prove detrimental to Punk as it would allow Lesnar to take advantage in a major way. The destructive Brock Lesnar would then take the smaller CM Punk and hurl him over the Spanish announce table before picking him up again and tossing him across the other announce table as a television monitor situated in the table lacerates the back of CM Punk! Lesnar then takes the cover of the announce table and puts it on the back of Punk, using all of his 300+ pounds to double stomp on the prone body of Punk. After hurling Punk onto the arena floor, Lesnar rolls Punk back into the ring where a brief flurry is immediately shut down by Brock Lesnar. Brock continues to punish the mid-section of CM Punk, wearing Punk down with a bear hug before repeatedly driving his unprotected knee into the ribs of Punk and going back to the bear hug. Punk manages to fight out of the bear hug, delivering a couple of kicks to Brock, but when Punk tries to come off of the top rope, Lesnar catches Punk in mid-air, tossing Punk across the ring with a fallaway slam. After biting on the ear of Brock Lesnar, CM Punk is able to mount a comeback, taking Lesnar down with a knee off of the top rope. Lesnar would pull himself up in the corner and Punk would hit two running knees on Brock before heading back to the top rope, landing the elbow drop on “The Beast”, but Lesnar manages to kick out. Punk then goes for the GTS, but Brock would counter, looking for the F-5 and Punk would fight out, landing a kick to the skull of Brock. However, when Punk goes for the GTS a second time, Lesnar again counters, this time locking in the devastating Kimura Lock, but Punk had Brock well scouted as Punk would quickly counter, locking in a triangle choke on “The Beast”! Brock would use his strength to hoist Punk up and slam Punk down, but Punk would not release the hold and, on the verge of tapping out, Lesnar would hoist Punk up high and, despite repeated shots to the skull, Lesnar would land a huge running powerbomb on Punk!
After failing to get the three-count on CM Punk, Brock Lesnar was the first man to his feet and Lesnar would pick Punk up, using the Three Amigos of the late, great Eddie Guerrero to punish Punk further. Lesnar then methodically heads to the outside of the ring where “The Beast” sets his sights on a steel chair, but this would give Punk the opportunity to climb to the top rope and Punk would put his own body on the line, diving out on top of Lesnar as the steel chair is sandwiched between Punk and Lesnar! Punk then uses the chair on the back of “The Beast” before the fight resumes in the ring and Lesnar would get his hands on the chair, but Punk would catch Lesnar with a low blow! Punk would then grab the steel chair again, climbing to the top rope with the weapon, using the chair for a steel-aided elbow drop on Brock Lesnar, who still kicks out of the ensuing pin attempt! With “The Beast” down at his feet, Punk would continue to punish Lesnar, but when Punk raises the chair up for another shot to the spine of Lesnar, Paul Heyman gets on the ring apron, grabbing the chair. Punk then briefly gets his hands on Heyman before Lesnar snatches Punk up, but Punk would not let go of the tie of Paul Heyman, preventing Lesnar from hitting the F-5! After shouting at Heyman to “let go”, Lesnar would finally pull Punk away from Heyman, but Punk would find his way off of the shoulders of Lesnar before hoisting Lesnar up himself and hitting the GTS! With victory all but a certainty, Punk would go for the pin on Lesnar, but Heyman would enter the ring and break up the pin at the last possible second! However, this would put Heyman right where Punk wants him as Punk stalks Heyman to the outside and back into the ring, but when Punk makes his way back through the ring, Brock Lesnar catches Punk, but when Lesnar goes for the F-5, Punk counters with a DDT to Lesnar. When Lesnar manages to kick out, however, Punk immediately locks in the Anaconda Vise, but Paul Heyman again saves Lesnar from defeat, sliding into the ring with a steel chair. Punk spots Heyman and quickly lets go of the hold as Punk stands on the chair, keeping Heyman in place. Punk then pulls Heyman to his feet, decking the evil mastermind with a right hand before locking the Anaconda Vise in on the advocate! Punk’s blind rage would hurt Punk again in this instance as Brock would take advantage, smashing Punk with repeated steel chair shots before hoisting Punk up again, successfully hitting the F-5 on the steel chair to put Punk down for the three-count as Lesnar finally picks up the win in a brutal war. After the match, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman would hobble away from the ring as CM Punk slowly gets to his feet as the Staples Center is filled with chants of “CM Punk”.
In Mixed Tag action, “The Show-Off” Dolph Ziggler would team with Kaitlyn to face Dolph’s former bodyguard, Big E. Langston, and Dolph’s ex-girlfriend, Divas Champion AJ Lee. During the match, Kaitlyn would level AJ Lee with a Spear on the outside while, in the ring, Dolph Ziggler would avoid the Big Ending, hitting the Zig Zag on Big E. Langston en route to picking up the win for himself and Kaitlyn.
Then it was time for the main event as, with WWE COO Triple H taking it upon himself to serve as the Special Referee to keep things fair on both sides and to keep his father-in-law, Mr. McMahon, from ruining the SummerSlam main event for his own personal gain, John Cena would defend the WWE Championship against his hand-picked #1 Contender, Daniel Bryan. Throughout the match, both champion and challenger would throw everything at each other, from Daniel Bryan locking the Yes Lock on John Cena to Cena hitting the Attitude Adjustment on Bryan, but neither would be able to put the other away. Late in the match, John Cena would catch Daniel Bryan in mid-air coming off of the top rope, but when Cena tries for the Attitude Adjustment again, Bryan counters with a DDT before Bryan climbs to the top rope again. Cena again catches Bryan in mid-air, but again, Bryan counters, this time rolling Cena up for a near fall. Bryan would then waylay Cena with a kick to the side of the head before Bryan backs up into the corner, sizing up Cena before charging full-force at Cena, connecting with a hard knee to the skull and, much to the surprise and glee of the fans, Bryan manages to pick up the three-count, pinning Cena to become the new WWE Champion! After the match, a disappointed John Cena shakes the hand of the new WWE Champion before Cena leaves the ring, allowing the brand new WWE Champion to enjoy the biggest moment of his career as confetti rains down from the rafters and pyro erupts on the stage celebrating the arrival of a new champion.
However, “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Randy Orton would come out, presumably to cash in his title opportunity, but Orton simply holds the briefcase high above his head, letting the new WWE Champion know that he is not far behind. What initially looks like a simple warning from Randy Orton to the new WWE Champion Daniel Bryan becomes one of the most shocking moments in the twenty-six year history of SummerSlam as, with Daniel Bryan’s back turned, Triple H would shock the world as “The Game” spins Daniel Bryan around before planting Bryan in the center of the ring with the Pedigree! Then, in what blatantly appears to be a well-orchestrated plan by the former Evolution teammates, Randy Orton marches to the ring, handing the Money-in-the-Bank briefcase to his former mentor, who smiles and gladly hands the briefcase over, instructing the timekeeper to ring the bell. The elaborate screwjob then becomes clear as Orton pins the unconscious Daniel Bryan and the crooked COO Triple H counts the pinfall as Randy Orton is crowned the brand new WWE Champion! Triple H then raises the hand of his hand-picked champion before standing in the corner and applauding the new champion as Randy Orton celebrates in the corner, not even having to break a sweat to win his seventh WWE Championship.

WWE SummerSlam 2013 Predictions

SUMMERSLAM pay-per-view is right around the corner. There are total 8 matches fixed for this yesr's SummerSlam PPV, in which 3 are title matches & 5 are non-title matches.

Ring of fire match: Kane vs Bray Wyatt - Its a ring of fire match between Kane & the member of the newly debuted Wyatt family Bray Wyatt.
The rivalry began when The Wyatt Family attacked Kane on the debut monday night RAW. However I don't think Kane gonna win this match its just a match to set a stage for the Wyatt Family.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

Chris Jericho vs Ryback- This match is non need match this match was added to card because of the cause of drama from the reality show TOTAL DIVAS. May be WWE has set this match to take Natalya foreward for the Divas Title.

If Natalys loses this match then WWE has totally given up on Natalya.

Winner: Natalya

Mixed Tag Team Match:  Dolph Ziggler w/ Kaitlyn vs Big E Langston w/ AJ Lee  AJ Lee just won the Divas Title back at WWE Payback from Kaitlyn. AJ Lee and Kaitlyn feud has been really good, people actually cares about The Divas Division.

This match is made after the break up of Dolph Ziggler & AJ Lee (Ziglee). However I don't think Dolph Ziggler & Kaitlyn gonna win the match it may end with a roll up.

Winner: Big E Langston & AJ Lee

Cody Rhodes vs Damien Sandow Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow thier rivalry began back at MONEY IN THE BANK PPV where Cody is just thier to grab the briefcase but Damien Sandow turn heel & cost Cody his match & became Mr. MITB. May WWE put this match to take Cody Rhodes foreward.

However I don't think Damien Sandow gonna win.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

World Heavyweight Champion: Alberto Del Rio vs Christian - Alberto Del Rio won the World Heavyweight Champion at WWE PAYBACK from Dolph Ziggler. Christian give Del Rio two loss at SmackDown during couple of weeks. So, I expect that Christian wins the Title.

Winner: Christian

US Championship: Dean Ambrose vs Rob Van Dam  - CThis match was fixed after the 20 Man Battle Royal on last Raw for the no. 1 contentor for the US title. I don't seems to RVD wins the US Title he may win a big Title later.

Winner: Dean Ambrose

The Best vs The Beast: CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar  - This match was made after the broke of friendship between CM Punk & Paul Heyman. Paul Heyman challenges CM Punk for a fight with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam & he accepted the challenge. However I don't think Brock Lesnar gonna win this match.

Winner: CM Punk

WWE Champion: John Cena vs Mark Henry - This is the most unpredictable match of SummerSlam because Mr. MITB Randy Orton can cash in his MITB at SummerSlam. John Cena won the title back at WrestleMania from The Rock in a huge main Event.
Few weeks ago, on Raw general manager of Raw Brad Maddox gives Cena a chance to pick his opponent for SummerSlam. He chooses Daniel Bryan. On the last Raw Triple H announces himself the special guest refree for this match, as Triple H is the ref he can play an important role in the match cost Bryan or Cena in his match.

Yeah!! Randy Orton can also walk out as the WWE Champion at SummerSlam if he will cost his MONEY IN THE BANK Contract.

Winner: John Cena

This is all my predictions for this years SummerSlam. I am really excited for the PPV & Hope you all enjoyed my blog. Enjoy the pay-per-view! on August 18.
