WWE Raw Results:May 25, 2015


– Tonight’s WWE RAW opens up with a video for Memorial Day. We’re live from the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island for the final WWE event in this venue. Eden is in the ring and asks everyone to stand for a ten-bell salute. We go to the normal RAW opening video.
– The pyro goes off and we’re live from Long Island with Michael Cole, JBL and Booker T.
– We go to the ring and out comes Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Kane, Joey Mercury, Jamie Noble and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. They all head to the ring.
We get hype for the WWE World Heavyweight Title match at Elimination Chamber. Rollins asks fans to give it up for Dean Ambrose and they do. Rollins says Ambrose acted like a common thug last week to get what he wanted – a title shot. A “you sold out” chant starts up. Rollins goes on and fans chant for Ambrose. Rollins says The Authority made the match under duress and that’s not how they operate and that’s not best for business. Triple H and Stephanie seem to agree. Rollins says they could take the title shot away from Ambrose right now. Rollins says Triple H could even fire Ambrose right now. Rollins says Triple H actually considered it but he asked him not to fire Ambrose. Rollins says Ambrose isn’t really a threat to him and isn’t on his level. Triple H calls Ambrose to the ring to keep his title shot and he comes out to the stage.
Ambrose says all it took was a steel chair, a few cinderblocks and some imagination to get his title shot. Ambrose says there’s a good chance that The Authority’s golden boy gets replaced by someone they call a lunatic but everyone else will just call the face of WWE. Ambrose says he will make some changes around here. Ambrose cracks jokes on the members of The Authority and gets a Justin Bieber chant going at Rollins. Rollins talks about how it wouldn’t be that bad to be Bieber. They have more words and Ambrose makes his way to the ring to fight but stops at ringside as fans chant his name. Roman Reigns’ music hits and out he comes through the crowd.
Stephanie stops them and announces Kane and Rollins vs. Reigns and Ambrose for tonight and that match is happening right now. Triple H’s music hits as we go to commercial.
Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Kane and Seth Rollins
Back from the break and they’re going at it. Kane and Reigns go at it with Reigns knocking Kane to the corner. Kane fights back and goes for a suplex but Reigns counters with one of his own. Ambrose tags in for some double teaming. Ambrose goes to work on the arm but Kane pushes him to the corner and Rollins comes in. Ambrose kicks Rollins and tags in Reigns for a double team clothesline. Reigns takes Rollins down with a headlock now.
They end up on the floor and Rollins takes control off a distraction when Kane and J&J get involved. Kane rolls Reigns back in and Rollins covers for 2. Rollins keeps Reigns grounded but fans chant for Ambrose. Ambrose finally gets a tag and unloads on Rollins. Ambrose with a bulldog and a clothesline over the top. Ambrose runs the ropes and dives out onto Rollins. Kane comes over but Reigns rocks him. We go to commercial with Reigns and Ambrose standing tall in the ring.
Back from the break and they still have Ambrose down. He finally hits a huge clothesline on Rollins and Reigns tags in as Kane does. Reigns unloads and hits clotheslines in the corner. He knocks Mercury off the apron. Noble takes a Superman punch. Kane drops Reigns with a big boot. Kane calls for a chokeslam but Reigns blocks it with elbows. Kane with a big right hand. Ambrose tags himself in as Reigns hits a Superman punch on Kane. Ambrose with the top rope elbow drop for a 2 count as Rollins breaks the pin. Rollins tags in and springboards with a knee to Ambrose’s face for a 2 count.
Rollins blocks Dirty Deeds. Ambrose comes back but misses the big clothesline. They trade holds and Ambrose pins Rollins with a back slide.
Winners: Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose
– After the match, Ambrose taunts Rollins from the ring. Cole reminds us that Ambrose still has to sign the contract tonight before the match is official.
– The announcers plug WWE Network and Elimination Chamber.
– Still to come, the cast of Entourage will be here. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and Renee Young is backstage with Dean Ambrose asking him about the contract. J&J Security walks up and taunts Ambrose. He smacks Noble and beats down Mercury before beating on them both. A camera man goes down during the melee and Ambrose looks concerned about it.
– The announcers lead us to a video for Kevin Owens vs. John Cena.
Rusev vs. R-Truth
We go to the ring and out comes Rusev with a Bulgarian flag. He’s also wearing the colors of Bulgaria. Cole says Rusev has moved back to his native Bulgaria. We go to commercial.
We come back and the cast of Entourage, minus Ari, comes out of a limousine in the back. Rusev is in the ring as we see the vacant WWE Intercontinental Title belt at ringside and a look back at Rusev’s split with Lana. R-Truth makes his way out next.

They go at it with Rusev hitting hard. Truth comes back with a big kick to knock Rusev down for a 2 count. Rusev comes right back and beats Truth down before stomping on his back and applying The Accolade for the easy win.
Winner: Rusev
– After the match, Rusev takes the mic and yells for Lana to come out. He says they need to talk and asks her to please come down. Rusev waits as we go back to commercial.
– We come back to Rusev still in the ring calling for Lana to come out. Lana’s music hits and out she comes to the ring. Lana says he asked her to come and now she’s waiting to hear what he has to say. Rusev says he knows Lana cares about him no matter what has happened. Rusev says he knows Lana wants to crush America and the American spirit just as bad as he does. Fans boo and start a USA chant. Rusev asks Lana to take his hand and all will be forgotten. Fans chant “no” as Rusev tries to convince her. They finally hug and Lana doesn’t look so sure. They raise their arms and fans boo. Rusev wants Lana to say three magical little words… I was wrong. Lana looks upset and turns to walk out of the ring. Rusev yells for her to come back and admit everything was her fault, then everything will be back to normal. Lana says she was not wrong, Rusev did say he quits at Payback. Rusev yells that she’s a liar and he never quits. He says she needs to know her place. Rusev says he owns Lana and tells her to get back here. Lana just looks at him from the apron but comes back into the ring. Lana says no, Rusev is a liar and a quitter. She says he’s so cowardly he can’t take responsibility for his own actions. Lana says she belongs to no one. She says she’s no longer Rusev’s victim. Lana says he’s never going to listen to Rusev’s caveman crap again, drops the mic and walks off as fans pop. Rusev throws a fit and out comes Dolph Ziggler to meet Lana on the stage. They kiss as Rusev looks on from the ring and continues to throw a fit.
– Ambrose is backstage when Rollins and Triple H walk in. The camera man that went down earlier walks in with two police officers and Triple H asks if he still wants to press charges. The guy looks to say otherwise but Rollins shuts him up. The guy does press charges and the two cops take Ambrose away in handcuffs. We go to commercial.
– Back from the break and Ambrose is being loaded into a police van as The Authority taunts him.
King Barrett vs. Ryback
We go to the ring and out comes King Barrett. Ryback is out next.
Ryback starts with a Thesz Press and goes to work on Barrett. Barrett gets up but Ryback nails a big scoop slam. Ryback readies for a Meathook as fans chant “feed me more” but Barrett rolls to the floor. Ryback follows and Barrett kicks his taped ribs. Barrett sends Ryback into the barrier. Barrett brings it back in and wails away on Ryback as he lays over the top turnbuckle. Barrett with a big knee to the ribs for a 2 count. Barrett keeps control and nails an elbow from the second rope for a 2 count. Barrett with knees to the back now.
More back and forth. Barrett pulls Ryback off the second rope and nails Winds of Change for a 2 count. Barrett readies for a Bullhammer but Ryback can’t get to his feet. Barrett slaps him around and talks trash. Ryback nails a spinebuster out of nowhere. Ryback with Shellshocked for the win.
Winner: Ryback
– Triple H and Stephanie are backstage. Triple H hangs up the phone and Ambrose is on his way to central booking. He says Ambrose won’t be able to make it back tonight which means he won’t be able to sign the contract. Stephanie wonders who Rollins will face at Elimination Chamber. The cast of Entourage walks in and jokes around with the two. Turtle asks if Ambrose just got arrested and Stephanie apologizes but says that won’t put a damper on tonight’s festivities. They plug the new Entourage movie and they call it the WrestleMania of movies. They mention Ronda Rousey being in the movie and Turtle makes it awkward when he talks about Rousey beating up Stephanie. Stephanie tells them where their dressing room is and they walk off. We go to commercial.
Stardust vs. Neville
Back from the break and Stardust is making his entrance. Actor Stephen Amell is at ringside and has some words with Stardust. Neville is out next to a pop.
They go at it to start the match but Stardust takes out the injured knee. Stardust works over Neville when Bo Dallas makes his way out and watches from ringside. Stardust controls most of the match but Neville knocks him off the top. Neville climbs up and hits Red Arrow for the win.
Winner: Neville
– After the match, Bo gets in the ring and tells Neville to just Bo-lieve. Bo kicks out Neville’s injured knee and he goes down in pain.
– The Entourage guys walk up on Summer Rae, Layla, Emma and Alicia Fox backstage. They go hang out when we see Eric talking to Zack Ryder. Eric is talking Ryder into doing something tonight for the Coliseum before it shuts down. Eric brings the rest of the guys into Ryder’s dressing room to go over their idea and they leave the Divas hanging.
– We see Lana and Dolph Ziggler backstage talking. Ziggler walks off to the ring as we go to commercial.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus
Back from the break and out comes Sheamus after a Money In the Bank promo. They go to the corner and start fighting but Sheamus knocks Ziggler down and works him into another corner. Sheamus drops Ziggler and stomps away as fans boo. Ziggler with a kick to the shoulder but Sheamus comes right back and runs over him. Sheamus drops knees and rakes at Ziggler’s face. Sheamus keeps Ziggler grounded with a headlock now.
Ziggler tries to make a comeback but Sheamus drops him again. Sheamus stands over Ziggler and talk trash before going back to work on him. Sheamus tosses Ziggler to the floor. They come back in and go back and forth. Ziggler hits a dropkick and sends them both over the top rope. Sheamus catches him on the floor and hits a big slam. Lana comes out to the stage and watches as Sheamus brings it back in the ring and we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Sheamus nails an Irish Curse backbreaker for a 2 count. Sheamus talks trash as Lana looks on from the stage. Sheamus keeps control until Ziggler finally gets some momentum going. Ziggler nails a crossbody from the top and the Fame-asser for a 2 count. Ziggler blocks White Noise and a Brogue, sending Sheamus into the ring post. Ziggler with a big kick for a close 2 count. Rusev comes walking past Lana and runs to the ring. Ziggler superkicks him on the apron but turns around to a Brogue from Sheamus for the win.
Winner: Sheamus
– After the match, Rusev enters the ring. Lana has came down to ringside and looks on as Rusev hits Ziggler with a big knee. He stares back at Lana and she looks angry at him. Ziggler takes another shot but fights back. Rusev drops him and stomps on his back before applying The Accolade right in front of Lana. Rusev breaks the hold and leaves Ziggler laying as he walks to the stage. Rusev yells back at Lana to kiss Ziggler now.
– Still to come, John Cena’s US Open Challenge. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and out comes WWE United States Champion John Cena as fans sing their own version of his theme song. Cena hits the ring and raises the title.
Cena talks about his fan reactions and they start the dueling chants up. Cena goes on about the fans and the crowd starts chanting for Zack Ryder. Cena finally brings up NXT Champion Kevin Owens and his name gets a pop. Cena says Owens left him incapacitated last week, broke the internet and then broke Sami Zayn in half at Takeover. Cena says the ones chanting “Cena sucks” believe Owens is the man to keep Cena down and the man to change what they think needs to be changed around here. Cena says the ones chanting that will be able to chant “fight Owens fight” this weekend. Cena tries to manipulate the chant into a “let’s go Cena, fight Owens fight” chant but it doesn’t happen. Cena says Owens proved last week he knows how to start a fight but they will find out on Sunday if he can finish one. Cena brings up tonight’s US Open Challenge and says he has great pride putting the title on the line for Memorial Day. Cena kicks off the challenge and out comes the four guys from Entourage to the stage. Cena asks fans to give it up for them and they get some boos. Cena asks which of them is going to come in the ring with him. Eric calls it a childhood fantasy to step into a WWE ring but they’re here to introduce a Superstar to answer Cena’s challenge, a Long Island boy just like him. They introduce Zack Ryder and out he comes to a pop.
WWE United States Title Match: Zack Ryder vs. John Cena
Back from the break and we get dueling chant for Cena and Ryder. The cast of Entourage watches from ringside. They go at it and Cena hits a suplex for a 2 count. Cena with another takedown and a 2 count. Cena whips Ryder into the corner and runs in with an elbow. Cena whips Ryder into another corner but Ryder gets his knees up. Ryder with a missile dropkick and a forearm in the corner. Ryder goes for the Broski Boot but Cena gets up and hits shoulder tackles. Cena with the big slam. He calls for an Attitude Adjustment as fans boo. Drama gets in the ring but backs off and is pulled to safety. Ryder rolls Cena up for 2. Cena comes back but Ryder slams him on his face for 2.
Ryder nails the Broski Boot and gets another 2 count. Ryder nails the Rough Ryder for another close 2 count. Ryder goes to the top for a 450 Splash but misses as Cena moves out of the way. Cena nails an AA for the win.
Winner: John Cena
– After the match, Cena helps Ryder up and raises his arm as fans pop. The guys from Entourage come in with Ryder and Cena to celebrate. They leave and Cena hits the turnbuckles to pose with the title. Cena turns around and is ran over by Kevin Owens. Owens hits the pop-up powerbomb and lays Cena out. Owens stands over Cena with the NXT Title. Fans chant for NXT and Owens stomps on Cena’s title belt. Owens smiles and raises his title before we go to replays. Owens’ music hits and he leaves as Cena starts recovering in the ring.
– Stephanie, Triple H and Rollins are backstage watching. Stephanie says Owens is so impressive he’s almost scary. She says Triple H knows how to pick talents. Rollins says he’s known Owens for a long time and downplays him, saying he’s still the future and the present. Renee Young comes in for an update on Dean Ambrose but Stephanie doesn’t have one. She says they will still give him the chance to sign the contract at the end of the night.
– We see what happened earlier with Ambrose and J&J Security when the camera man went down. We also see the police arresting Ambrose later.
Tamina Snuka vs. Paige
We go to the ring and out come The Bella Twins for commentary. Back to commercial.
Back from the break and Naomi is out with Tamina Snuka. Paige makes her way out next. Paige and Tamina go at it to start the match. They end up on the apron and Paige hits a bunch of knees. Tamina knocks her off the apron to the floor. Paige crawls back in but Tamina throw her to the mat and keeps her grounded.
Paige finally makes a comeback and unloads on Tamina. She connects with a dropkick and a superkick. Tamina rolls to the floor to regroup but Paige leaps off the apron and takes her out. Paige brings it back in the ring but Tamina meets her coming in. The referee backs Tamina off but is distracted when Naomi runs over for a cheap shot on Paige. Tamina with a big Samoan Drop on Paige for the win.
Winner: Tamina Snuka
– After the match Naomi and Tamina look on from the ring as The Bella Twins stand at ringside.
– Back from a break and WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day are in the ring. They cut a promo saying they’re being persecuted for being positive. They’re not happy about defending inside the Elimination Chamber on Sunday. They rip the fans and the Coliseum, calling them losers. This leads to a “New Day sucks” chant. Kane’s music hits and out he comes to the stage. Kane makes The New Day vs. Cesaro, Tyson Kidd, Los Matadores, The Ascension, The Prime Time Players and the Lucha Dragons in a 10 on 3 match. That match is next.
Handicap Match: The New Day vs. Cesaro, Tyson Kidd, Los Matadores, The Ascension, The Prime Time Players and the Lucha Dragons
Cesaro and Tyson Kidd are out first with Natalya. Titus O’Neil and Darren Young are out next followed by Fernando and Diego with El Torito. Konnor and Viktor are out next followed by Sin Cara and Kalisto. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and Kalisto is going at it with Xavier Woods. Woods gets the upperhand and taunts the other Superstars. They all rush in at once and beat him down for the disqualification. Big E and Kofi Kingston also run in and everyone fights now. It comes down to The Lucha Dragons in the ring after they send Kidd and Cesaro out with everyone else. Cara and Kalisto go to the top and splash out onto the other teams. The New Day come back in the ring and stand tall.
Winners by DQ: The New Day
– The New Day celebrates but Kidd nails a dropkick. Cesaro drops Woods and does the Cesaro Swing on him. Kidd stops it with a dropkick. They pose with Natalya in the ring as Cesaro’s music hits.
– We get the trailer for the WWE Network Sneak Peek of the Daniel Bryan DVD.
– Back from a break and Daniel Bryan is announced for Miz TV on the Elimination Chamber pre-show.
– We see footage from the Dean Ambrose segment earlier and it shows Seth Rollins pushing the camera man into Ambrose so he shouldn’t be in jail right now.
– We go to the ring and out comes The Authority. Rollins talks about how Ambrose is a criminal. Stephanie talks about how Ambrose struck an employee and she wants to say more about it but their lawyers have advised them not to as it’s an ongoing investigation. Triple H said despite Ambrose’s state of mind, they were still willing to give him a title shot if he just signed a contract. Triple H says they have no choice but to formally announce that Seth Rollins will… Roman Reigns’ music hits and out he comes. He rushes the ring and tackles Rollins. J&J attack him as does Kane but he fights them off. Triple H and Stephanie retreat to the floor. The numbers game catches up with Reigns and they beat him down.
Kane chokeslams Reigns and the beatdown continues as Stephanie cheers them on. Fans chant for Ambrose. A police siren goes off as we see the van that carried Ambrose away earlier, pull back into the arena. Ambrose hops out to a big pop. He rushes the ring and unloads on The Authority. He drops Kane with a clothesline and tackles Rollins with more punches. Rollins goes to hit Ambrose with the night stick he brought in but Reigns makes the save. Reigns and Ambrose take turns on Rollins before sending him to the floor. J&J and Kane come in to beat up Reigns and Ambrose but they fight back. Reigns with a spear on Mercury and Noble at the same time. Kane tosses Reigns to the floor. Reigns runs back and hits a Superman punch on Kane. Ambrose with Dirty Deeds on Kane. The contract is brought in and Ambrose signs it in time so the match is still on for Elimination Chamber. Rollins, Triple H and Stephanie look on from the stage as Reigns and Ambrose stare back from the ring. RAW goes off the air.

WWE Raw Results: May 18, 2015


– Tonight’s WWE RAW kicks off from Richmond, Virginia with Michael Cole welcoming us. He’s joined by Booker T and JBL. Eden introduces Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
– Triple H and Stephanie come out to the ring and there’s a podium with a title under a black cloth. Stephanie talks about Seth Rollins retaining the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Payback and puts him over. Triple H also praises Rollins and says, “I told ya so.” Triple H says Rollins is the future of WWE. Fans boo. Stephanie says we will be paying tribute to Rollins tonight as they present “Seth Rollins: Architect of a Dream.” She announces Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton will be going to the back of the line. Triple H says they just couldn’t get the job done. They ask for a drumroll and reveal the vacant Intercontinental Title under the cloth.
Stephanie talks about Daniel Bryan and a “yes!” chant starts. She disses Bryan and says it must have been hard to stand in the ring and admit she was right. She says he had to relinquish two titles because his body couldn’t hold up. Triple H talks about the Elimination Chamber match for the title in two weeks. We get a promo for the Chamber and the announcers hype it. Triple H and Stephanie continue to hype the Chamber show until Sheamus’ music hits and out he comes.
Sheamus apologizes for interrupting and a “you look stupid” chant breaks out. He likes what The Authority has done with the place and Stephanie likes his look. Sheamus says we don’t need a Chamber match because he took out Daniel Bryan. He shows us highlights from their match on SmackDown last month and fans boo. Sheamus says it was him who finally put the little man down and he should be rewarded. Sheamus says giving him the title is right for business and what’s best for business. Ryback’s music hits and out he comes to a pop. Ryback has his ribs taped up from the Payback match with Bray Wyatt. He hits the ring and a big “feed me more” chant breaks out. Ryback agrees with the fans and says Sheamus looks stupid. Ryback says Bryan has more heart, passion and determination than Sheamus could ever have. Another “yes!” chant starts. Stephanie says the fans are predictable. Ryback cuts her off and says, “Big Guy has the microphone, Big Guy does the talking Steph.” Ryback stands up for Bryan and proposes a match with Sheamus for tonight. Stephanie says they both will be in the Chamber in two weeks. Triple H makes a singles match for right now and we go to commercial.
Ryback vs. Sheamus
We come back from the break and they start brawling. They end up on the floor with Sheamus in control and we go back to commercial.
Back from the break and Sheamus hits the forearms on the apron. More back and forth. Ryback catches Sheamus in a big powerbomb. Ryback goes on and hits a spinebuster for a 2 count. They go back to the floor and Sheamus bounces off the announce table and lands hard. Sheamus fights back and tries to send Ryback into the ring post but it’s countered and Ryback sends him into it. Ryback brings it back in the ring but Sheamus hits an elbow. Ryback continues and goes for Shellshocked but Sheamus hits him in the ribs. Sheamus acts like he has something in his eye but lures Ryback in for a Brogue Kick for the win.
Winner: Sheamus
– We get a backstage segment with The Authority. Seth Rollins takes credit for saving Kane’s job at Payback. Dean Ambrose comes in and wants to give Rollins a rematch at Elimination Chamber, only if Rollins will put the title on the line. Rollins says Ambrose is at the back of the line with Reigns and Orton. Kane lets Rollins decide and the match isn’t happening. They leave and it’s just Kane with Ambrose. Ambrose asks what would Paul Bearer or The Undertaker think about Kane now and this upsets him. Kane makes Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt for tonight. We go back to commercial.
– Back from the break and Renee Young introduces Neville in the ring. He comes out to a pop.
Renee says Neville gets his rematch against King Barrett next but she has a few questions. She asks him what it’s like being a new Superstar. Neville says he’s competed all around the world but nothing compares to competing in WWE. Neville says he may not be the biggest guy and has his share of doubters but there’s nothing he loves more than proving doubters wrong. Neville says he’s 10 feet tall and invincible when he’s coming off the top. Renee asks about going from being NXT Champion to the main roster. The music hits and out comes Bo Dallas to interrupt.
Bo knocks Neville and refers to him as the little engine that couldn’t. Bo says he could say Neville’s career is looking up but that would be a lie. Neville tells Renee that he beat Bo to start his NXT Title reign. Bo tackles Neville and goes to work on his taped knee. Neville counters and sends Bo to the floor. King Barrett’s music hits and out he comes.
Neville vs. King Bad News Barrett
Bo Dallas joins commentary as Barrett makes his way to the ring and Neville looks on.
Barrett takes it to the corner but Neville eventually fights out and rolls Barrett up for 2. Barrett takes it back to the corner and beats Neville down. Neville hops around on the leg and Barrett works on the injured knee some more. Barrett takes Neville to the apron and slams his leg onto it as we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Barrett is still working on the leg. Barrett misses a big boot in the corner and gets hung up. The crowd pops. Neville tries to lift Barrett but his knee buckles. Barrett runs into a kick. Neville tries to springboard in but his knee goes out and he falls. Barrett nails a Bullhammer for the win.
Winner: King Barrett
– After the match, Barrett takes his crown and robe before leaving. Bo Dallas comes in and attacks Neville’s leg as fans boo. Bo pulls Neville over and slams his leg into the ring post a few times. Bo raises his arms as fans boo some more. His music hits and he poses in the middle of the ring as the referee checks on Neville.
– We see stills from Rusev vs. John Cena at Payback. Still to come, Cena will defend his title. Also, we will get Rusev’s reaction to Lana and the finish at Payback. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and out comes Rusev with the Russian flag. No sign of Lana.
Fans chant for Lana and Rusev says there will be no Lana tonight. Fans boo. Rusev says there is no Lana and she needs to learn her place. Rusev says Lana does not speak for him, only he speaks for himself. Rusev says he knows how to speak our stupid American language and can say he quits for himself. Fans chant louder for Lana and Rusev yells that there is no Lana. Rusev says he did not quit last night and John Cena did not beat him. Rusev brags about making Cena pass out in the ring. Rusev says Lana quit because she’s weak. Rusev tells Cena to come out so they can restart the match. Lana comes out instead and fans cheer.
Rusev yells at her for defying him and coming out. Lana says she just wants to explain to everyone that Rusev isn’t like he seems to be. He’s not just The Bulgarian Brute, he’s misunderstood. She says something in Russian and then says she believes in him. She’s believed in him since the beginning and more than anyone else. Lana says she’s been with Rusev every step of the way and she was positive he would be the first man to make John Cena quit but that didn’t happen. Lana says that’s life and she was just trying to protect Rusev because she cares for him. Rusev says she’s in her feelings, pathetic and disgusting. Lana yells that’s enough and asks what did he expect her to do. She says she did the right thing for him and for them. She says he was screaming in Bulgarian that he quit. A “you quit” chant breaks out. He calls her a liar and says there is no us, just him. He says he doesn’t need Lana, he doesn’t need anyone. He says Lana is weak and she makes him weak. He tells her to get out of the ring and go back to where she came from. Rusev yells at Lana as she walks to the back. He throws his arms up and fans boo. The music hits and he continues talking trash.
– The announcers talk about the Fatal 4 Way at Payback. Still to come, The New Day defends against Cesaro and Tyson Kidd.
Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt
We go to the ring and out comes Dean Ambrose to a big pop. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and out comes Bray Wyatt. They lock up and Wyatt takes it to the corner but is forced to back off. They lock up again and Wyatt slams Ambrose. Wyatt poses as fans cheer. Wyatt misses a back splash and Ambrose takes control. Ambrose drops an elbow and works Wyatt over. More back and forth as they brawl. Ambrose runs into Wyatt but goes down. Wyatt with kicks and more now. He takes Ambrose down with a chinlock. Wyatt with a clothesline in the corner. Ambrose comes back with a big charge in the corner and Wyatt goes to the floor. Ambrose runs the ropes and goes for a dive but Wyatt stops him with a big right hand at the ropes. Wyatt suplexes Ambrose out to the floor and we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Wyatt is in control. He drops Ambrose with a headbutt. Wyatt with another big throw that sends Ambrose to the floor for a breather. They collide on the floor and both go down as the referee starts counting. They both come in at 9 and slowly get to their feet. They start brawling and trading shots in the middle of the ring. They collide again but Ambrose gets the upperhand and unloads. Ambrose hits the bulldog. Wyatt rolls to the apron but Ambrose ties him up in the top rope and nails a dropkick. Ambrose comes off the top and covers for a 2 count.
They trade counters and Ambrose blocks Sister Abigail. Ambrose dumps Wyatt over the top rope. Ambrose dives out and sends Wyatt to the floor but Ambrose bounces into the barrier. Ambrose brings it back in but Wyatt immediate grabs him for Sister Abigail. Ambrose counters and goes for Dirty Deeds but it’s blocked. Ambrose goes for the bounce back clothesline but Wyatt nails a huge clothesline for a 2 count. Fans chant “this is awesome” now. Wyatt turns upside down in the corner as he waits for Ambrose to get up. Ambrose nails him with a big right hand. Wyatt fires back, sending him into the ropes and Ambrose hits the bounce back clothesline for a 2 count. Ambrose takes Wyatt up for a superplex but Wyatt fights him. Wyatt knocks Ambrose to the mat and goes for the senton from the second rope but Ambrose moves out of the way. Ambrose goes to the top but J&J Security comes out. Joey Mercury distracts the referee while Jamie Noble pushes Ambrose off the top into Sister Abigail for the win.
Winner: Bray Wyatt
– After the bell, we see Triple H and Stephanie McMahon backstage watching, looking happy. J&J retreats to the stage where Seth Rollins is. Rollins waves back at Wyatt, who is posing over Ambrose.

WWE Tag Team Title Match: Cesaro and Tyson Kidd vs. The New Day
We go to the ring and out comes Cesaro and Tyson Kidd with Natalya. WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Big E are out next. They cut a promo on Xavier Woods being banned from ringside. They confirm there will be 5 tag teams in the Elimination Chamber match later this month. Big E says it isn’t fair and has never been done before. They rip Virginia and the “New Day sucks” chants start.
Cesaro starts off with Big E and they go at it. Cesaro ends up clotheslining Kofi on the apron and lifting Big E for a long suplex. Kidd tags in and takes out Big E from the apron while Cesaro runs over Kofi on the floor. We go to commercial with Kidd and Cesaro in control.
Back from the break and Big E has Cesaro in an abdominal stretch. Cesaro fights out but Big E hits a belly to belly. Kidd and Kofi go at it now. Kidd gets the Sharpshooter locked in but Big E breaks it up. Cesaro and Big E brawl. Big E sends Cesaro to the floor. Kofi stomps on Kofi in the corner. The referee calls for the bell when Kofi won’t let up and things fall apart.
– After the bell, Cesaro comes in and takes out Big E. He goes to do the Cesaro Swing on Kofi but Xavier Woods runs down and makes the save. The New Day beats them down until Sin Cara and Kalisto run down to make the save to a big pop. Los Matadores run down and dive out onto Big E. The Ascension are out next to join in on the brawl. The Prime Time Players are out next and they clear the ring. Cara and Kalisto leap out onto everyone. Titus brings Woods in the ring and double teams him with Darren Young. PTP stand tall to end the segment.
– Back from the break and it’s announced Roman Reigns will be on SmackDown.
– We go to the ring and out comes WWE United States Champion John Cena to the usual reaction. He raises the US Title and gets a USA chant going. Cena says “never give up” helped him keep the title where it belongs last night. He talk about defeating Rusev at Payback and gets another USA chant going. Cena goes on about how everyone gets a shot and says this is our championship. He kicks off the challenge and out comes WWE NXT Champion Kevin Owens for the shocker.
Owens takes his time walking to the ring with the NXT Title in hand. He stands in the ring and stares Cena down. Owens takes the mic and says hello to Cena. Owens congratulates Cena on his win at Payback and says it was impressive. Owens says he would introduce himself but Cena knows exactly who he is. The crowd pops. Owens says if anyone doesn’t know who he is, then those people aren’t worth his time in the first place. Cena cuts him off and introduces Owens, which gets a pop. Owens thanks him and says that was nice. Owens knows Cena feels guilty about the injury Sami Zayn suffered on RAW a few weeks back. Owens says Sami was injured before that because he’s the one who injured him. Owens says he’s going to finish what he started with Sami at Takeover: Unstoppable on Wednesday. Cena says that was a fine speech but Owens has a lot to learn. Cena tells Owens to listen up. He says no fan is to be told they’re not worth time because without the fans, there is no Owens and there is no WWE. Cena says we’re here because of the fans and they pop. Cena offers some veteran advice but Owens cuts him off. Owens says he’s been doing this for 15 years and has been doing it longer than Cena. Owens says he just didn’t get a break until now. Owens says Cena doesn’t get to give him advice ever. Cena says fine, he will give Owens a warning. Cena say she doesn’t see fire in Owens’ eyes like he saw with Sami. Cena says he sees a scared kid that tried to rattle the cage of John Cena but now he’s crapping his pants because he realizes he bit off more than he can chew. Cena warns Owens that Sami might take him out at Takeover. Cena asks Owens if he wants the shot. Owens says he’s a prizefighter but already has a prize – the NXT Title. Fans boo. Owens turns down the challenge and fans boo. Owens promises they will fight one day but says it will be on his terms. Out of nowhere Owens nails a low kick on Cena. Owens nails the powerbomb and a “fight Owens fight” chant starts. Owens stomps on the US Title and does the “you can’t see me” taunt over Cena before walking out as his music hits.
– We get a look back at Daniel Bryan vacating the Intercontinental Title last week.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Stardust
We go to the ring and out comes Dolph Ziggler. Back to commercial.
Back from the break and Stardust is out. They go at it and Stardust takes control early on. He stomps away and wastes some time. Stardust with a big clothesline for a 2 count as the “Cody” chants start up. Stardust with more offense until Ziggler nails the Zig Zag out of nowhere for the quick win.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
– Cole interviews Ziggler in the ring and asks him how he feels after the match with Sheamus at Payback. Ziggler says the stitches hurt but not nearly as bad as losing to Sheamus. Ziggler says chicks dig scars anyway. Cole reveals that Ziggler gets the final spot in the Intercontinental Title Elimination Chamber. Ziggler talks about being open to any challenge or competitor when Lana makes her way out. Fans chant for Lana. She waits a minute before grabbing Ziggler and kissing him. Fan chant for another kiss and she gives it to him. Rusev makes his way out and he’s furious. He yells at Lana and she slaps him. Ziggler comes from behind and lays Rusev out. He leaves with Lana as Rusev throws a fit in the ring.
– Kane is backstage walking and barking orders. We go to commercial.
Erick Rowan and Luke Harper vs. Fandango and Zack Ryder
Back from the break and both teams are in the ring. Harper starts off with Fandango. Fandango takes it to the corner and unloads with chops. Harper with a headlock and a shoulder to drop Fandango. Fandango comes back and sends Harper to the floor. Fandango jumps out and Harper shoves him into the barrier. Harper brings it back in and tags Rowan. Rowan splashes Fandango and mounts him with right hands.
Harper comes back in and does the gator roll. Harper with a headlock now. Fandango nails a tornado DDT as Ryder waits for the tag. Fandango with a 2 count. Ryder finally gets the tag and unloads on Harper. Ryder with a missile dropkick. Harper catches him with a big sideslam and tags in Rowan. Harper knocks Fandango off the apron and they double team Ryder and Rowan hits a chokeslam for the win.
Winners: Erick Rowan and Luke Harper
– We see The Bella Twins waling backstage when Stephanie McMahon stops them. Stephanie congratulates them on their win and says what she said about Bryan can come off the right way but she offers her sincere sympathies. She says she’s the wife of a WWE Superstar also. Stephanie says she’s scheduled some counseling sessions for Brie but she doesn’t think Brie is fit to accompany Nikki to the ring tonight. We go to commercial after Stephanie walks off.
– Back from the break and we see stills from the Divas tag match at Payback.
WWE Divas Title Match: Naomi vs. Nikki Bella
We go to the ring and WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella comes out. Naomi is out next with Tamina Snuka and we get a sidebar video from earlier with Naomi dissing The Bella Twins.
We get formal ring introductions from Eden. We get some stalling to start but they go at it. Naomi connects with a big kick to the shoulder but Nikki fires back and clotheslines her over the top rope. Nikki runs the ropes and leaps out onto Tamina and Naomi. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and they’re going at it as a trainer checks on Tamina at ringside. Nikki drops Naomi but they both go down. Nikki comes back with clotheslines and a dropkick. Nikki with a back drop as fans pop. Nikki tackles Naomi for a 2 count. Nikki goes for the Rack Attack but Tamina runs in with a superkick for the DQ.
Winner by DQ: Nikki Bella
– After the match, Naomi and Tamina double team Nikki until Paige runs down to a big pop. Paige clears the ring and raises the Divas Title before yelling “my house” at Tamina and Naomi, who are retreating. Nikki gets up and goes to get her title off the mat but Paige grabs her and hits the Ram-Paige. Paige skips around the ring with the title as her music plays.
– We get a look back at Cena and Owens from earlier. We see Triple H backstage congratulating Owens. They talk off and Renee Young walks up for comments from Owens, asking what he was talking to Triple H about. Owens reveals he will face John Cena at WWE Elimination Chamber. Owens says Cena should pay attention to what he does to Sami Zayn at Takeover.
Triple H praises Rollins and talks about everything he’s done. He says Rollins has lived up to every claim he’s ever made. Triple H says he sees the reflection of himself in Rollins. Triple H says he felt goosebumps when he saw Rollins use the Pedigree to win at Payback. Triple H says The Authority and the WWE Universe are here to celebrate Rollins. He tells fans to give it up but most of them boo. A “you sold out” chant breaks out. Triple H says members of The Authority want to say some words about Rollins. Kane is first. A “Justin Bieber” chant breaks out at Rollins.
Kane acts like he wants to say something else and jokes about Rollins’ height. Kane says he’s glad Rollins is still champion and says he is truly best for business. Rollins asks if that’s all Kane has to say. Kane thanks Rollins for saving his job and says he had something put together to show how sincere he is about that. We get a video package with highlights on Rollins. The Authority applauds the video package. Noble talks about how it’s been a privilege being at Rollins’ side. Mercury is next but he gets choked up and out comes Dean Ambrose to interrupt things.
Ambrose enters the ring and gets fan to chant Justin Bieber at Rollins some more. Ambrose brings up a title shot again but Rollins reminds him he’s at the back of the line with Reigns and Orton. Ambrose says he’s a notorious line jumper and wants his title shot, or else. Stephanie asks Ambrose who he thinks he is and agrees with Rollins that Ambrose doesn’t deserve a shot. Stephanie says Rollins is a fighting champion and won’t be intimidated by Ambrose’s threats. She tells Rollins to get Ambrose but he looks unsure. The Authority backs off and Rollins swings but Ambrose takes him to the corner. J&J jump in but Rollins and Ambrose tumble to the floor. Ambrose drops Rollins and sends Mercury into the barrier. Rollins comes back but gets backdropped over the announce table. Ambrose reveals a stack of cinderblocks, just like Rollins used on him months ago. Ambrose goes to hit Rollins with a steel chair but Stephanie tells him to stop. She says he will get the title shot if he lets Rollins go. Ambrose does but The Authority attacks. He fights them off and ends up in the ring with Kane, who runs him over. The numbers game catches up and they beat Ambrose down in the ring. Rollins hits the Pedigree on Ambrose and RAW goes off the air with Rollins standing tall.

WWE Payback Results 2015


– The 2015 WWE Payback Kickoff Pre-show kicks off from the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland with Renee Young, Booker T, Byron Saxton and Corey Graves on the panel. They hype the show and tonight’s pre-show match with The Meta Powers taking on The Ascension. Renee talks about tonight’s Fatal 4 Way for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. We go backstage to Eden and Dolph Ziggler. Eden asks which Ziggler will we see in his match with Sheamus tonight and he says the same one we always see but he’s not sure which Sheamus will show up – the bully or the one who backs down when someone stands up to him. Ziggler says tonight is all about payback and it’s personal now. We go to Tom Phillips in the social media lounge. Tom will be joined by Sheamus later and fans can submit their questions with the Twitter hashtag #AskSheamus.
– We go back to Renee and she leads us to a video package for tonight’s United States Title match. Graves believes Rusev and Lana’s issues won’t be a problem tonight. Booker says John Cena is going to represent America tonight and believes he can beat Rusev again tonight. They talk about how big it will be for Rusev if he can make Cena quit. We take a break and return to a look back at Daniel Bryan’s announcement about dropping the Intercontinental Title and his health. We go backstage to Eden and The Bella Twins. Brie Bella is emotional and talks about how strong Bryan is. She says we all know Bryan will do everything he can to make sure he comes back to what he is so passionate about. She thanks the WWE Universe for their support and says they couldn’t be more grateful. She’s crying now and says Bryan is her biggest inspiration for tonight and she loves him more than anything in the world. Eden wonders if emotions will be a problem tonight. Nikki Bella says they won’t and talks about how they are real family. She say tonight, Naomi is officially going to run out of excuse on why she’s not Divas Champion now and will never be. We see the announcers making their way out. We get more discussion on tonight’s Divas match before going to some Tough Enough videos.
R-Truth vs. Stardust
Renee sends us to Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler for a bonus match. Out comes R-Truth rapping to the crowd. Truth gets the crowd hype before Stardust interrupts and out he comes.
Truth taunts Stardust as the “Cody” chants start up. They start the match and go to the corner before breaking. Truth plays to the crowd and Stardust shoves him. Truth shoves back. They trade slaps. They stall some more and Truth nails a big right hand. Truth with a couple of arm drags and more playing to the crowd. Stardust tries to take control but Truth taunts him some more. Stardust runs into an elbow and goes to the apron for a breather. He tries to fight back in but Truth stops him. Stardust drops Truth over the top rope and he ends up on the floor.
Stardust takes control in the ring now. He slams Truth’s head into the turnbuckles until the referee backs him off. Stardust with more offense in the corner. Stardust misses a dropkick and Truth covers for a 2 count. Stardust comes right back with a clothesline. More back and forth. Truth slams Stardust on his face. Stardust comes back and hits a nice springboard kick for a close 2 count. Stardust with stomps and kicks now. Truth runs into a clothesline. More back and forth. Stardust slaps Truth with his glove but Truth looks to make a comeback. Truth with right hands before dropping Stardust on his face for the win.
Winner: R-Truth
– It’s announced that Steve Austin will interview Paul Heyman live on the WWE Network after RAW on June 1st.
– Renee leads us to a video package for Ryback vs. Bray Wyatt. Tom Phillips has some fan questions for Sheamus in the social media lounge before we go back to the ring.
The Ascension vs. The Meta Powers
We go to the ring and out comes The Ascension. Damien Sandow is out next as “Macho Mandow” with Randy Savage’s theme and all. Curtis Axel is out next to Hulk Hogan’s Real American theme, boa and all.
Konnor starts with Axel and works him over. Axel starts hulking up already. He does the finger point and fires away with right hands on Konnor. Konnor runs into the big boot and Axel hits the leg drop for a 2 count as Viktor breaks the pin. Viktor also knocks Sandow off the apron. Konnor stomps on Axel and tags in Viktor to keep up the attack. They do another quick tag and keep Axel in their corner. Viktor comes back in and keeps up the attack for a 2 count. Viktor with a headlock now.
Sandow gets the tag and unloads on Viktor. Konnor runs in but Axel pulls the rope down, sending him to the floor. Sandow slams Viktor and goes up top for the big elbow drop. Konnor decks Axel and knocks Sandow off the top. Konnor tags in and they hit Fall of Man on Sandow for the win.
Winners: The Ascension
– We go back to the panel for more discussion on tonight’s pay-per-view. Graves predicts Seth Rollins will retain tonight while Saxton believes Randy Orton will win the title. That’s it for the pre-show.
– The 2015 WWE Payback pay-per-view kicks off with a video package for tonight’s Fatal 4 Way for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. We’re live from Baltimore as the pyro goes off and Cole welcomes us.
Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler

We go right to the ring and out comes Sheamus to boos. Dolph Ziggler is out next to a pop.
We see the Spanish announcers at ringside as Ziggler makes his way into the ring. Sheamus mushes Ziggler before the bell. It rings and Ziggler attacks. They go at it and Ziggler nails a dropkick. Ziggler knocks Sheamus over the top and it looks like Sheamus injures his knee. Ziggler takes the knee out and brings Sheamus back in. Ziggler keeps control and goes to the top for a crossbody for 2. Sheamus scoops Ziggler up but Ziggler counters for a 2 count. Sheamus runs over Ziggler with a forearm and tries to slow down the pace some. Ziggler comes right back and counters again but misses a superkick. Sheamus nails a big elbow on the knee. Ziggler goes to the floor clutching his knee now.
Sheamus keeps control and works Ziggler’s leg over inside the ring now. Sheamus with more offense and a close 2 count. A “you look stupid” chant starts as Sheamus kicks Ziggler around some more. Sheamus keeps Ziggler grounded with a headlock now. Ziggler fights up and drops Sheamus with a jawbreaker. Sheamus runs into an elbow and then runs into the ring post as Ziggler moves out of the way.
Ziggler makes a comeback and hits a dropkick in the corner. Ziggler with right hands as the referee counts. Ziggler goes for a neckbreaker but it’s blocked. Ziggler counters that and nails a big DDT for a close 2 count. Ziggler charges into the corner and hits more punches and knees. The referee backs him off again. Ziggler rubs his rear end into Sheamus’ face and Sheamus retreats to the floor in disgust. Sheamus washes out his mouth and comes back in the ring. He drops Ziggler over the top rope but misses the Brogue. Ziggler nails a Fame-asser for a close 2 count. Ziggler attacks in the corner and mounts Sheamus with punches but Sheamus powerbombs him for another close 2 count. More back and forth. Sheamus applies the Cloverleaf but Ziggler gets to the bottom rope and breaks it. More back and forth. Ziggler nails a big superkick for another close 2 count. Ziggler gets to his knees as Sheamus waits in the corner. Sheamus nails a Brogue kick for the win.
Winner: Sheamus
– After the match, we go to replays. Sheamus goes to the stage and poses as fans boo.
– We go backstage to Kane, Seth Rollins, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble. Rollins warns Kane that if he does anything not in Rollins’ best interest tonight, losing his job will be the least of his concerns. J&J try to stand up to Kane but he laughs at them and they leave.
2 of 3 Falls Match for the WWE Tag Team Titles: Tyson Kidd and Cesaro vs. The New Day

We go to the ring and out comes Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods with a promo about thinking positive. They diss the crowd while telling them to think positive. They point out some Baltimore Orioles players at ringside and fans start cheering for them. The New Day knocks the Orioles as fans boo. A “New Day sucks” chant starts up before Cesaro and Tyson Kidd make their way out with Natalya.
It will be Kofi Kingston and Big E representing The New Day. Kidd starts out for his team and rolls Kofi up for a 2 count. Cesaro tags in and they double team Kofi for a pin attempt. Kofi slides out of a slam and tags in Big E. They lock up and run the ropes. Big E tries to leap but Cesaro catches him in mid-air with a big slam for a 2 count. Big E catches Cesaro next and presses him high for a big slam. Big E takes Cesaro to the middle rope as Woods talks trash at ringside and gets in a cheap shot. Kofi comes back in for some double teaming but Cesaro turns it around and drops them both. Cesaro stomps on Kofi and Big E as fans cheer. Cesaro suplexes Kofi and holds him in the air while tagging in Kidd. Kidd goes to the top and brings Kofi down from the suplex for a close 2 count as Big E breaks the pin. Cesaro sends Big E to the floor. Cesaro tags back in as Kidd catapults Kofi into a chokeslam from Cesaro. Cesaro does the Cesaro Swing and Kidd comes in for the sudden stop dropkick. Kidd covers for the 3 count and they have the first fall.
Woods argues with the referee about getting in the match under Freebird rules but the ref won’t allow him in. Natalya takes down Woods at ringside. Big E ends up on the floor. Kidd leaps out onto him but Big E catches him and hits a big overhead throw on the floor. Cesaro comes and checks on Kidd now. They come back in the ring and Big E stomps away on Kidd. Kofi tags in for more stomping. They make more quick tags and stomp away on Kidd. Kofi drops Kidd again and covers for a 2 count. Fans chant for Kidd but Kofi stops him from tagging.
Big E comes in and keeps Kidd in a bear hug. Kidd breaks it and goes for a tag but Big E stops him, throwing Kidd on the mat. Big E runs the ropes and splashes Kidd. He covers for a 2 count but Cesaro breaks the pin. Big E ends up spearing Cesaro off the apron into the barrier. Big E comes back in and tags Kofi. Kofi with a 2 count on Kidd. Fans chant “this is awesome” and Woods says they are well aware. Kofi comes off the top but Kidd catches him on the way down. Cesaro is still on the floor down as Kidd looks for the tag. Big E comes in but Kidd rolls him up for 2. Kidd takes out Kofi and fights Big E off but Big E catches him on his shoulder. Kofi tags in for the double team move for a 3 count. The New Day has the second fall.
Cesaro is still down as Kidd starts the next fall with Big E. They keep control and Big E nails another big overhead throw. Fans chant “New Day sucks” as Kidd hits a drop toe hold but still has no one to tag in. Cesaro finally gets a hot tag and unloads on Kofi. Cesaro whips Kofi back and forth from corner to corner and hits an uppercut each time as fans pop. Cesaro presses Kofi high and throws him into Big E when he runs in. Cesaro goes for a big powerbomb on Big E but can’t hit it. Cesaro hits a big running uppercut in the corner for a 2 count. Kofi runs into a boot and in comes Kidd. Cesaro with a backbreaker as Kidd follows up with an elbow for a close 2 count.
Kidd goes for a Sharpshooter on Kofi and gets it locked in as Natalya looks on. Cesaro runs around the ring and tosses Big E over the announce table. The Sharpshooter is broken as Cesaro returns to the corner. They do a nice double team counter and Cedro tags in. Kidd drops Kofi into a big uppercut from Cesaro but in comes Big E. Big E unloads but Cesaro takes him out with a boot. The referee is distracted as Xavier Woods runs in and rolls Cesaro up. The referee turns around, doesn’t realize it’s Woods and counts the pin for the win.
Winners: The New Day
– After the match, Cesaro and Kidd are shocked and upset at the screwy finish. The New Day retreats and rubs the win in as Kidd and Cesaro look on from the ring with Natalya.
– Saxton approaches Ryback backstage. Ryback says he’s not afraid of Bray Wyatt and tonight, The Eater of Worlds gets eaten. He starts a “feed me more” chant and walks off.
– Cole leads us to a video package for the next match.
Ryback vs. Bray Wyatt

We go to the ring and out first comes Bray Wyatt as the lights go out and his fireflies light up. Ryback is out next to a pop as Wyatt looks on.
Ryback take it to the corner and goes to work. The referee warns him but he comes back with a big shoulder thrust. Ryback with more offense and a shoulder block for a 2 count. Wyatt fights back with a big right hand as we get dueling chants from the crowd. Ryback hits the Thesz Press and slams Wyatt’s head into the mat a few times. Wyatt tries to get a breather on the floor but Ryback follows and sends him hard into the barrier. Fans chant “feed me more” as Ryback brings it back in the ring. He slams Wyatt back into the corner and works him over some more. Ryback ducks a clothesline but Wyatt runs him over with a shoulder.
Wyatt keeps control and grounds Ryback with a headlock. They end up on the floor with Wyatt in control. Wyatt goes to the apron and hits a huge splash to the floor. Ryback sells big time as the referee counts. Ryback makes it back just in time but Wyatt goes right back to work on him. Wyatt with a splash in the corner. Wyatt climbs up and wastes time, allowing Ryback to powerbomb him out of the corner. Ryback makes a comeback and readies for the Meathook clothesline but Wyatt rolls to the floor. Ryback follows and Wyatt suckers him in, dropping him with a big shot. Wyatt brings it back in the ring for a 2 count.
Wyatt tosses Ryback across the ring and splashes him in the corner. Wyatt goes for another splash but Ryback follows with a splash of his own. Ryback blocks a clothesline and nails a spinebuster for a 2 count. Lots more back and forth. Wyatt gets the win after sending Ryback into an exposed turnbuckle and hitting Sister Abigail for the pin.

I Quit Match for the WWE United States Title: Rusev vs. John Cena

We go to the ring and out first comes Rusev with Lana. WWE United States Champion John Cena is out next as fans sing along their own version of his theme song.
Rusev takes the mic before the match and tells Cena the people already hate him so he should swallow his American pride and quit right now. A big USA chant breaks out and the referee asks Cena if he wants to quit. Cena looks around and attacks Rusev to start the match. Rusev fights back and drops Cena with a big kick. Rusev rams Cena into the corner and he goes down. Rusev with another splash when Cena gets up. Fans chant for Lana. Rusev gets upset and goes to ringside. He grabs a chair and puts it in front of the announce table, telling Lana to sit in it. Fans boo.
Rusev comes back in the ring and Cena manages to take him down. Cena slowly gets up and knocks Rusev into the corner. Cena misses a clothesline in the corner and Rusev goes back to work on him with kicks and strikes. We get dueling Cena chants now. Rusev beats Cena down again and the referee asks him if he wants to quit. Rusev keeps up the attack and won’t let Cena up. Rusev nails a big dropkick and tells the referee to ask Cena but Cena says no. Rusev with another big dropkick but Cena won’t quit. Fans chant for Lana again as Cena drops Rusev with a clothesline. Rusev hits a heel kick and goes back to ringside to yell at Lana as fans boo. Rusev comes back in and goes to work on Cena. He orders Lana to get up and hand him the Russian flag. Rusev holds it high and waves it over Cena as fans boo some more.
Another big USA chant breaks out. Cena comes back with shoulder tackles and the big slam. Cena calls for the Five Knuckle Shuffle and hits it. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment but Rusev slides out. Cena goes for a crossbody but Rusev catches him with a fall-away slam. Cena lands bad and rolls to the floor. The referee asks him if he wants to quit but he doesn’t. Rusev sends Cena into the steps but he won’t quit. Rusev tells the referee to ask Cena again but he says no. He sends Cena back in and brings half of ring steps in, standing up in the corner. Rusev tells the referee to ask Cena but he won’t quit. Rusev whips Cena back first into the steps and he goes down. Cena still won’t quit. Rusev whips Cena into the steps again. Rusev takes the mic this time and asks Cena if he wants to quit, or so it seems. Rusev grabs the steps and lays them in the middle of the ring. He brings Cena on top of them but Cena backdrops him onto the mat.
They trade shots and Cena leaps again but Rusev catches him. Rusev slams Cena onto the steps but he won’t quit. Rusev goes to stomp Cena on the steps but Cena moves and Rusev hurts his foot. Cena nails an AA on top of the steps. The referee asks Rusev if he wants to quit but he can’t speak as he’s out of wind. Rusev gets to his feet but Cena grab the steps. Rusev sees this and rolls to the floor. Cena lifts the steps and throws them out. Rusev moves out of the way. Cena follows and Rusev takes control but Cena sends him into the ring post. Rusev won’t quit. Cena talks trash and tells Rusev he will put him through the barrier if he doesn’t quit. The referee asks and Rusev screams no. Cena charges and sends Rusev crashing through the barrier. Rusev still won’t quit.
Cena goes and wheels a production case over but Rusev stops him with a kick to the face. The referee asks but Cena won’t quit. They fight through the production area and towards the side of the stage now. Cena goes for an AA but Rusev slides out. Rusev grabs Cena and slams him on top of a table but not too hard and it looked weak. More back and forth. Cena takes control and leans a table up. Fans chant USA as Cena hits Rusev in the back with a chair but he won’t quit. Cena hits Rusev in the back with another foreign object but he still won’t quit. Cena grabs a laptop and breaks it over Rusev’s back. Rusev crawls under the table that was leaned up a few minutes ago. Cena grabs him and goes for an AA through the table. Rusev counters and slams Cena through the table. The referee asks Cena but he will not give up. Rusev gets frustrated and looks around for something to use on Cena. He grabs a bunch of wires and figures out they lead to the pyrotechnics area. He makes a small piece of pyro go off and smiles. He waits for Cena to get up on the stage but misses a kick. Cena goes for the AA and nails it on top of a bunch of pyro, causing it to go off. We see Lana looking worried at ringside. Rusev still won’t give up.
Cena brings over one of the old school steel barricades. The referee asks but Rusev won’t quit. Cena charges on the ramp with the barricade and nails Rusev with it down by the ring. Rusev won’t give up. Cena with an AA attempt on top of the steps but Rusev slides out. Rusev suplexes Cena on top of the barricade that was leaning on the apron. Cena won’t quit and says hell no. Lana looks on. Fans chant “this is awesome” as Rusev brings it back in the ring. Rusev waits for Cena to get up and nails a huge kick to the head. Rusev stomps on Cena’s back and applies The Accolade. Cena powers up with Rusev on his back. Cena rams him back in the corner but the hold is still locked in. Cena rams Rusev back again but it doesn’t break the hold. Cena fades to the mat and Rusev has the hold applied like normal now. Cena passes out in the hold as Rusev breaks it. Rusev thinks he has the match won and is celebrating. The referee informs him that’s not the case and Rusev argues. Cena must say he quits. Rusev exposes the top turnbuckle pad and unscrews the top rope. Rusev splashes water on Cena to wake him back up.
Rusev yells at Cena to get up. Cena drops Rusev into the STF and uses the loose top rope to keep the hold locked in. Rusev yells a bunch of stuff in Russian. Lana comes over and yells at the referee, screaming to him that Rusev quits. Cena wins.
Winner: John Cena
– After the match, Cena has his arm raised and Lana enters the ring to check on Rusev. The American flag drops down over the ring as Cena celebrates and makes his exit.
– We go back to the pre-show panel for some discussion.
– The New Day is backstage with Byron Saxton. They’re celebrating with glasses of milk. They don’t care who they face next. Saxton informs them that they will defend the titles inside the Elimination Chamber on May 31st. They’re surprised by this and walk away not happy.
The Bella Twins vs. Naomi and Tamina Snuka

We go to the ring and out comes Brie Bella with WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella. Tamina Snuka and Naomi are out next.
Naomi and Nikki go at it to start the match. Naomi unloads in the corner but Nikki drops her with a springboard kick for a 2 count. Brie comes in and drops Naomi for a 2 count. Brie with more offense and a knee to drop Naomi against the ropes. Brie with the running knee to the face as she sends Naomi to the floor. Brie rolls her back in but Naomi distracts the referee and Tamina hits a big kick on the apron, sending Brie back to the floor. Naomi brings Brie back in for a 2 count.
Naomi keeps control and keeps Brie down. She stands on Brie’s hair and stomps her some more. Naomi with more offense and a 1 count as she pins Brie with her foot. Naomi whips Brie into the corner and tags in Tamina to keep up the beatdown. Brie tries to fight back with kicks but Tamina rams her into the corner. Naomi comes back in and beats on Brie some more. Naomi drops Brie for a 2 count. Nikki finally gets the tag and hits a dropkick. Nikki unloads on Naomi and covers for a 2 count that Tamina breaks up. Nikki ends up kicking Tamina out of the ring but Naomi rolls her up from behind for 2. Tamina distracts Nikki from the apron. Nikki turns around and takes a Rear View for a close 2 count. Brie takes out Tamina on the floor. More back and forth in the ring now. Nikki with another big slam and a close 2 count. Nikki goes to the top. Tamina slams Brie into the barrier, distracting Nikki on the top. Naomi takes advantage and slams her from the top for the win.
Winners: Naomi and Tamina Snuka
– After the match, Tamina and Naomi celebrate as a referee checks on Nikki in the ring. Brie comes to on the floor and that’s it.
– We go backstage to Rusev yelling at Lana in their dressing room. Rusev tells her to get out and she does as fans boo.
King Barrett vs. Neville

We go to the ring and King Bad News Barrett is out first. Neville is out next to a pop.
They start the match and go to the corner with Neville landing an early roll up. Neville comes back with a crossbody and a head scissors that sends Barrett to the floor to regroup. Neville follows and connects with a kick to the gut. Barrett with another big kick to the midsection. Barrett keeps control and brings it back in the ring, sending Neville into the ring post. Barrett with more offense in the corner and a 2 count. Barrett keeps Neville grounded with a headlock now. Neville fights up and tries to do a springboard but Barrett cuts him off with a boot to the face. Barrett with another pin attempt.
Barrett with more offense and a knee to the back. Barrett chokes Neville with the middle rope as the referee counts. Barrett with high knees on the ropes now. Barrett knocks Neville over the top rope with a big boot. Fans boo as Barrett shows off. Barrett with another 2 count and a headlock. More back and forth as Neville makes a comeback. Barrett cuts him off with another big kick to the gut. Barrett talks trash and readies for the Bullhammer. Neville avoids it but gets caught with Winds of Change for a close 2 count.
Neville kicks Barrett off and comes in with a springboard. Barrett blocks it but Neville counters with an arm drag for a 2 count. Neville drops Barrett with an enziguri and positions him in front of the corner. Neville goes up for Red Arrow but Barrett rolls out to the floor. Neville leaps out of the ring and takes Barrett out anyway. Neville lands bad and clutches his leg. Barrett looks to make it back in at the 9 count but stops and gets counted out.

– After the match, Neville looks disappointed with the win. Barrett rushes back in the ring and drops Neville. Barrett tosses him over the top rope and sends him into the steel steps. Barrett tosses Neville into the barrier as fans boo. He comes back in the ring and takes his crow, scepter and robe. Neville gets up and Barrett tries to hit him with the scepter. Neville counters and hits a German suplex. Neville drags Barrett over and goes up top to nail Red Arrow. We go to replays and come back to Neville standing over Barrett before making his exit and greeting fans at ringside.
Fatal 4 Way for the WWE World Heavyweight Title: Dean 
Ambrose vs. Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth 
Rollins

We go to the ring and out first comes Kane. If the WWE World Heavyweight Title changes hands tonight, Kane will be fired from The Authority. Randy Orton makes his way out first followed by Dean Ambrose, both to nice pops. Roman Reigns is out next, also to a pop. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is out next with Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble. Rollins also gets a good reaction from the crowd when his music hits.
We get formal ring introductions and as soon as the match begins, J&J get involved. It comes down to Reigns and Rollins going at it in the ring. Reigns goes for an early pin attempt. Reigns with more offense and a big right hand for another pin attempt. Rollins counters in the corner and drops Reigns’ face into the corner. Ambrose comes off the top rope with a big elbow on Reigns but Orton breaks the pin. Orton with right hands on Ambrose in the corner. Ambrose turns it around and mounts Orton with rights. Ambrose with a bulldog on Orton. They trade shots and Orton hits a backbreaker for a 2 count as Reigns breaks the pin. Rollins is still out on the floor. Orton and Reigns go at it now. Reigns blocks a RKO and sends Orton over the top with Ambrose. Rollins comes from behind and attacks Reigns.
Reigns comes in and teams with Ambrose to double team Rollins. Reigns mounts Rollins with right hands. Ambrose with a clothesline on Rollins. Reigns readies for a Superman punch but Kane pulls him to the floor and sends him into the barrier. Kane also takes Ambrose down and sends him back into the ring for Rollins. J&J attack Orton at ringside and Kane joins in to help them. Rollins slams Ambrose for a close 2 count. Rollins springboards in from the apron and hits a knee to the face of Ambrose for another pin attempt. Rollins slaps Ambrose around now.
More offense and a pin attempt from Ambrose but he hangs in as Rollins gets frustrated. Rollins stomps away on Ambrose now. Rollins goes for a powerbomb again but Ambrose fights out. Rollins kicks him twice. Ambrose bounces back with the slingshot suplex. Ambrose ends up going for Dirty Deeds but Kane comes in the ring and chokeslams him. The referee tells Kane to get out of the ring and he does but Rollins crawls over for a 2 count. Kane tries to come back in but Orton stops him. Reigns follows up with a big punch and Kane goes down. Orton clotheslines Reigns. Orton comes in the ring and sends Ambrose to the floor. He drops Rollins. Rollins blocks a powerslam. Orton blocks a move in the corner and hits a big t-bone suplex for a 2 count.
Rollins goes to the top but Orton crotches him. Orton climbs up and nails a superplex for a 2 count. Orton with a clothesline on the floor. Orton back drops Rollins on the barrier. Orton takes apart the announce table. Ambrose comes over and Orton fights him over also. Reigns comes over and sends Orton into the ring post. The former members of The Shield stand over Orton and look around at each other. Orton fights them off but they beat him down like old times. They grab Orton and hit the triple powerbomb through the table, just like they used to. The crowd pops and all three pose together. Rollins starts laughing but Ambrose and Reigns are laughing at him, not with him. They turn and beat Rollins down.
Fans chant “this is awesome” as Ambrose and Reigns take apart the Spanish announce table. They go to put Rollins through it but Kane makes the save. They send Kane into the ring post and here comes Rollins to help Kane. Rollins ends up on the Spanish announce table on his back. Ambrose and Reigns lift Kane up and powerbomb him on top of Rollins and the Spanish announce table. Kane’s back landed awkwardly and fans chant “one more time” for another powerbomb. Ambrose and Reigns lift Kane again and this time the powerbomb onto Rollins breaks the table for another big pop.
The crowd goes nuts as Ambrose and Reigns have some friendly words about doing what they have to do next. They both enter the ring and meet in the middle. Fans chant for Ambrose and he strikes first. They trade shots in the middle of the ring. Reigns misses a Superman punch and Reigns tackles him with punches. Reigns with a roll up for 2. Reigns with a powerbomb for 2. Reigns smiles at Ambrose and has some words for him about what’s coming. Reigns readies for a Superman punch but it’s blocked. Ambrose with a roll up for 2. Reigns hits the Superman punch for a close 2 count. Reigns goes for a spear but it’s blocked with a kick. Reigns blocks Dirty Deeds. Ambrose misses the bounce back clothesline. Reigns nails a spear for 2 as Rollins barely breaks the pin.
J&J attack Reigns on the floor but he fights them off and sends them into the barrier. Reigns follows Rollins back in the ring but gets kicked before making it in. Ambrose and Rollins go at it. Reigns with a Superman punch. Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds on Rollins. Ambrose covers Rollins but Kane pulls Ambrose to the floor. Kane drops Ambrose with a steel steps shot to the head. Reigns comes over but Kane hits him in the head with the steps also. Kane chokeslams Reigns on the steps. Reigns comes over and takes Kane down. There is carnage at ringside as fans chant for the RKO. Orton comes to the apron but Rollins brings him with a draping DDT attempt. Orton turns it around and nails the second rope draping DDT. Mercury and Noble interfere but both take RKOs. Rollins comes off the top but Orton catches him in a powerslam. Orton keeps control and fans pop. Orton readies for the RKO but it’s blocked. Kane comes in and takes the RKO. Rollins grabs Orton and hits a Pedigree for the win.
Winner: Seth Rollins
– We get replays and come back to Rollins on the ground clutching the WWE World Heavyweight Title. Triple H comes out and helps Rollins up on the entrance way. Triple H raises Rollins’ arm as fans boo. We see Orton, Ambrose and Reigns trying to recover at ringside. Payback goes off the air with Triple H congratulating Rollins.
