WWE Smackdown Results 14-6-13

The show begins with a teaser of what is to come tonight. Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston will face Alberto Del Rio and Chris Jericho. Also, The Shield will face the team of Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and Kane.

Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring. Bryan says if when he first debuted, he would have thought he would become World Champion. However, he didn’t think he would lose it in 18 seconds. Did he think he could win the Tag Team Championships with anybody? Yes. Did he think he would spend 9 months with Kane? No. Despite this, Daniel says Team Hell No is one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history. Daniel invites Kane to the ring.

Kane makes his way to the ring. Kane says he knows why he was called out, but is only intrested in their match with the Shield later tonight. Daniel says he want to get everything out in the open. Daniel says the last 9 months have been awesome. Daniel says he is proud with what they have done, in and out of the ring. At Payback, Kane won’t be Daniel’s partner. Daniel says after Payback, he will be Tag Team Champions with someone else. Bryan says he and Kane won’t be teaming up. Kane asks if Daniel is breaking up with him. Kane says the same will happen when he defeats Dean Ambrose for the US Championship. Daniel says they could still team if that happens, but no if RKNo wins the championships. Kane says Bryan thinks it is a given that they will win, even though they couldn’t beat the Shield. Also, Orton and Bryan hate each other. Bryan asks if Kane thinks that he can’t do it. Kane says yes. Bryan begins talking about being the weak link, and proving that he isn’t. Bryan says Kane needs to watch that he and Randy will do something that he and Kane couldn’t do. When that happens, Daniel says that would mean he is the weak link. Kane grabs Daniel by the neck. Randy Orton interrupts.

Orton says he can’t let Daniel do that. Although he wouldn’t mind seeing a Chokeslam to Bryan, he needs him for Payback. Orton says it could start a chain reaction that could lead to an RKO. Orton and Kane get in each others face, but Daniel says he didn’t need help. Orton asks about the partner thing, as Kane goes to leave. Bryan begins saying he will run like he always does. The Shield appear on the Titantron.

Rollins speaks of how entertaining this team is, with their arguing. Ambrose says after all these months of losing to the Shield, they would be mad too. Ambrose says still after all this time, they are still untouchable. Ambrose says it will be the same as always tonight. Reigns says tonight they will lose, just like at Payback.

Sheamus makes his way to the ring. Antonio Cesaro is in the ring. Before the match begins, Sandow comes out with a mic. Sandow says Cesaro speaks 5 different languages. Sandow says like the unwashed masses, he doubts Sheamus can speak 1. Sandow says he will defeat Sheamus at Payback.

Sheamus vs. Antonio Cesaro

They lock up, as Cesaro is backed into the ropes. Antonio gets away with a European Uppercut. They lock up again, as Sheamus is backed into the corner. Cesaro slaps Sheamus, but is taken to the floor with punches. Sheamus goes to kick him from the ring, but Cesaro gets away. Sheamus gets his hands on Cesaro, connecting with a Clothesline. Cesaro fights back with uppercuts, but is whipped. Cesaro is hit with a Front Powerslam. Pin, but a kick out. Sheamus throws some fists to Cesaro. Sheamus goes for a Suplex, but is taken down by Cesaro. Antonio deadlifts Sheamus from the mat into a Gutwrench Suplex. Cesaro hits a Clothesline to Sheamus, sending him to the floor. Cesaro goes to the apron, attempting to dive on him. Sheamus catches him, connecting with a Fallaway Slam into the barricade.

Sheamus whips Cesaro from the corner, but is greeted with a Back Elbow. Sheamus then hits the Irish Curse. Pin, but a kick out. Sheamus rolls to the floor, as Cesaro follows. Antonio drives Sheamus into the steel steps. Sheamus is pushed back into the ring, as Cesaro follows. Pin, but a kick out. Cesaro locks in a Headlock, as Sheamus tries to fight out. Cesaro holds the Headlock, swinging him by the head. Pin, but a kick out. Sheamus finally gets away, with a Back Body Drop. Sheamus connects with Double Axe Handles. Sheamus goes for a Running Knee Lift, but is taken down with a Clothesline. Cesaro connects with a Double Stomp to Sheamus’ chest. Pin, but a kick out. Sheamus is whipped, as he is kicked by Cesaro. Sheamus blocks the second, sending Cesaro to the apron. Sheamus proceeds with clubs to the chest. An Irish Curse, from the apron, follows. Pin, but a kick out. Sheamus picks up Cesaro, but is taken out with an Uppercut. Cesaro follows with a Side Death Valley Driver. Pin, but a kick out. Cesaro pushes Sheamus into the corner, but is hit with a Brouge Kick.

Winner: Sheamus via pinfall

After the match, Sheamus is ambushed on the ramp. Sandow backs away after the attack.

Teddy Long is backstage, a he goes to eat a burger from Hardee’s. Dolph Ziggler, AJ and Big E come into his office. Dolph says it has been a month since he has had a match on Smackdown, and is 2 days away from his title defense. Dolph wonders why he was put in a match, but still promises what he does tonight will be a taste of what is to come Sunday. They all leave as Teddy goes to eat his burger. Big E comes back, eating near half of it. Big E says it was good, giving it back.

The Great Khali makes his way to the ring, with Natalya and Hornswoggle.

Heath Slater, with Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre makes his way to the ring.

They lock up, as Khali pushes Heath across the ring. Slater slaps Khali, but is taken to the corner with a chop. Slater is chopped once again. Slater throws punches to Khali, but is taken out with a Big Boot. Khali connects with Clotheslines. Heath is hit with a Brain Chop. Drew and Jinder go up to Natalya and Hornswoggle. Jinder pushes Hornswoggle, getting a chop from Khali. Slater gets on the distraction, connecting with a DDT for the win.

Winner: Heath Slater via pinfall

Ricardo Rodriguez introduces Alberto Del Rio, as he makes his way to the ring. Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring. Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston, with AJ Lee, make their way to the ring.

Alberto and Ziggler start off, as Big E is tagged. Langston and Del Rio lock up, as Del Rio is taken into the corner with fists and knees. Del Rio reverses, connecting with an Enzuigri. Big E is taken to the corner, as Jericho is tagged. Chris connects with forearms, but is whipped. Jericho connects with chops. An Enzuigri of his own follows. Pin, but a kick out. Langston takes Jericho into the corner, shouldering him in the gut. Ziggler is tagged, as he stomps away at Jericho. Dolph connects with an Elbow Drop. Pin, but a kick out. Big E is tagged, as he goes for a cornered Jericho. Chris dodges, as Del Rio is tagged. Alberto connects with a Superkick. Pin, but a kick out. Big E runs the ropes, tackling Del Rio to the floor. Del Rio goes around Big E with a Backstabber. Ziggler is tagged, as Del Rio chases him. Ziggler rolls to the floor.

Big E has a Headlock applied, but Jericho gets out. Chris is whipped, but grabs the ropes. Big E charges, and is sent to the floor. Jericho connects with a Dropkick through the ropes. Jericho slams Big E into the apron, and rolls him back into the ring. As Jericho goes to get in, AJ claws at his eyes. Big E then runs into him from the ring. Langston follows Jericho to the floor, throwing him into the barricade. Big E throws Jericho back in the ring and pins. Kick out. Langston connects with a Splash to Jericho. Pin, but a kick out. Ziggler is tagged, as he stomps at Jericho. Ziggler follows with a Neckbreaker. Pin, but a kick out. ZIggler misses with a Splash in the corner, as he is hit with a Bulldog. Del Rio is tagged, as he takes out Ziggler with Clotheslines. A Tilt-a-whirl Backbreaker precedes a Superkick to the head. Big E gets in the ring, but is taken out by Jericho. Dolph then connects a Dropkick to Jericho. Del Rio rolls up Ziggler for the win.

Winners: Alberto Del Rio and Chris Jericho via pinfall

Backstage, Renee Young interviews Jericho on his victory. Jericho speaks about Payback and facing CM Punk. Jericho says everyone will cheer for their hometown hero, but has had many classic Chicago moments, like his debut. Jericho says no one will want to miss Payback. Paul Heyman comes up, wishing him luck. Heyman says that the odds are against Jericho, because Chicago is Punk’s hometown. Also, he has Heyman in his corner. Heyman boasts about Punk being the best in the world, but gets the microphone hit into his face.

Aksana is in the ring. Kaitlyn makes her way to the ring. A highlight from Raw is shown, where AJ makes fun of Kaitlyn. Aksana laughs at it, as Kaitlyn attacks her. Kaitlyn takes out Aksana, but the ref tries to break it up. Kaitlyn slaps the reg in the face, as Aksana runs away. Kaitlyn starts crying in the ring.

A Ryback and John Cena video package is shown.

Curtis Axel makes his way to the ring.

Wade Barrett is in the ring. Barrett grabs a mic, saying he would like to speak with Paul Heyman. Barrett asks why they are having this match now. Wade could very well injure Axel, getting him out of the match at Payback. Wade thinks it would make business sense to leave this until Sunday. Miz comes out with a mic, saying what would they rather do then have a match. Miz says everyone wants to see a match, starting a fight chant.

Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett vs. Curtis Axel w/ Paul Heyman

They lock up, as Barrett is backed into the corner. Axel stomps away at Barrett, but is kneed in the face. Barrett connects with a Clothesline. Pin, but a kick out. Barrett whips Axel, as he connects with a Dropkick. Curtis is whipped, as he is kicked in the gut with a Savate Kick. Barrett follows Axel to the floor, but Wade is sent into the steel steps. Axel goes to hit Wade, but hit Miz after a side step. Curtis is thrown back in the ring, as Barrett goes in. Axel connects with the Swinging single-handed Neckbreaker for the win.

Winner: Curtis Axel via pinfall

After the match, Miz connects a Skull Crushing Finale to Axel.

Another Bray Wyatt vignette is shown.

The Shield make their way to the ring.

Team Hell No and Randy Orton are in the ring.

The Shield (United States Champion Dean Ambrose and WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) vs. Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan and Kane) and Randy Orton

Seth and Daniel start off, as Bryan is taken into the corner. Rollins whips Daniel , as he does a backflip. Bryan connects with a Larait, following with kicks. Kane is tagged, as he connects with a Low Dropkick. Pin, but a kick out. Kane connects with a Suplex. Pin, but a kick out. Ambrose is tagged, as he connects with fists. Kane connects with a Big boot, after Ambrose runs the ropes. Orton is tagged, as he stomps in Ambrose. Dean is hit with some European Uppercuts and headbutts. Orton connects with a Suplex. Daniel is tagged, as he connects with kicks to the chest. Ambrose backs Daniel into the corner, as Reigns is tagged. Roman connects with a Slam and pins. Kick out. Rollins is tagged, as he throws a flurry of fists. Dean is tagged, as he continues the assault. Dean connects with a Twisting Elbow Drop. Ambrose locks in a Dragon Sleeper, as Daniel knees out. Bryan goes to run the ropes, but is taken with a knee to the gut. Orton is tagged, as he cleans house. Orton connects with a Scoop Slam to Ambrose and Rollins. Ambrose is sent to the apron, as he and Rollins are set up for DDTs. Dean snaps Orton’s neck against the ropes. Pin by Ambrose, but a kick out.

Dean has a Headlock applied, as he knees Orton. Randy is taken down with a Clothesline. Pin, but a kick out. Dean pulls on the fingers and wrist of Orton. Roman is tagged, as he headbutts Orton. Pin, but a kick out. Roman chokes Orton against the ropes. Reigns is hit with a few fists, but fights back. Orton then hits a Backbreaker. Orton sidesteps a tackle from Roman, as he is sent into the ring post. Kane and Dean are tagged, as Kane cleans house. Kane connects with a Front Powerslam to Ambrose. Pin, but a kick out. Kane connects with corner Clotheslines and a Sidewalk Slam. Pin, but a kick out. Kane goes top rope, but misses with the Flying Lariat. Ambrose connects with a Dropkick, sending Kane to the corner. Daniel tags himself, as he Dropkicks Ambrose. Rollins is tagged, as he is hit with a Dropkick. Daniel then connects with a Suicide Dive to the other two. Daniel gets back in the ring, connecting with multiple Dropkicks to a cornered Rollins. Daniel kicks Rollins in the chest, following with Roundhouses to Roman and Dean. Daniel goes top rope, as Dean tries to push him off. Daniel elbows him away, attempting the Flying Goat. Rollins moves away, and pins Daniel. Kick out. Kane takes Dean out of the ring, as Roman takes Kane out. Orton goes for an RKO, but is hit with a Spear. On the outside, Dean and Roman are thrown behind the barricade. Inside the ring, Rollins connects with a Bucklebomb. Rollins goes top rope, but Kane pushes him off. Orton connects with an RKO. Daniel finishes with a No Lock for the win.

Winners: Team Hell No and Randy Orton via submission
